Short of Joe Biden staying in the running while exemplifying the energy and lucidity of an empty bag of Lay's Sour Cream Onion Fries on the floor of a basement frat party, “pass the torch” a Kamala Harris is the best the Republicans could have. desired, and simply “the next worst thing” for Democrats who, at Hail Mary time, reached out and pulled the political equivalent of a repeated Fran Drescher laugh.
The entire party suddenly throwing their support behind a woman who polled worse than a quart of cottage cheese left to sit in the sun for six months during the 2020 primaries exemplifies the point I made a two months when i argued that politicians have a talent for making the worst possible decisions.

It wasn't just Tulsi Gabbard who did it publicly humiliate Kamala Harris on the debate stage during the 2020 primaries, but both the polls and Harris' campaign results forced us to one conclusion: Most Americans find Harris detestable. And, in 2024, there seems to be no sign that this attitude has changed.
The bogus logic of the Democrats keeps hitting them in the face when they least expect it like Chevy Chase in the attic, stomping two by fours in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
I can't describe how pleased I am to see the stupid decisions the Democratic Party is making, namely selecting Kamala Harris based on her gender and race. Vice President from damn United States —bite them in the ass again.
The fact is, if Harris wasn't VP, she would be never to be next in line to be the Democratic nominee. She was chosen to be VP only because Joe Biden made his selection based on race and gender, completely ignoring the fact that no one seemed to like Harris and she doesn't seem to have the brains for the job.
By circumventing a legitimate process of actually selecting a vice president, which should always be reduced to a meritocracy as one of the most important offices in the world, the Democrats planted a political seed in a pile of horse manure that has now become in poisonous and political cacophony. fungus And by moving Kamala Harris into the position of being the next presidential candidate, the party is officially taking its first bite of the fungus that began growing on the dunghill four years ago.
Beyond the identity politics coming back to bite the Democrats, the selection of Harris makes no obvious sense because it is easily tied and tied to President Biden's awful last four years in office. We're voting to “carry on with what was,” to use the parlance of Kamala's time.
Leaving aside the fact that the Democratic Party shamelessly lied about Biden's mental condition, literally until the day they forced him to present himself for the nominationhis presidency was filled with endless mistakes and a palpable lack of leadership. And these four years will always be the Biden-Harris administration, not just the Biden administration.
And so instead of electing someone new, who has no record of bringing civility and law and order to the country for the past four years, the Democrats are actively choosing to retain all the worst shits of the last 4 years and try to put the lipstick of a new candidate on it.
However, nothing surprises me in the political sphere anymore. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if Hillary Clinton ran for the position at the next convention, or if the party decided the presidential candidate via a nationwide non-binary pansexual twerk contest, or a “burn the flag” round robin. ” tournament.
But at least the next time they tell you they're going to change the world, remind them that their candidate sat idly in office for the past four years while the nation went to hell. And the next time they remind you that they are the party of democracy, remind them that they almost forced the electorate to have their candidate resign, all so they could make the brilliant strategic move of replacing him with “the next one” . the worst”.
The circus freak show of life continues, like the worst reality show we didn't even sit down to watch. Have a good week.
