While left-leaning media bias is a foregone conclusion of today's journalism, no matter how much the media jackals protest, the level of prejudice against Donald Trump remains a marvel to behold.
Nowhere is this more evident than in the ongoing saga of whether President Biden has the mental acuity to carry out his duties as president: If the guideline is stringing together a series of coherent sentences, the answer is a resounding no.
The 25th Amendment is tailor-made for the occasion when a president is “unable to exercise the powers and duties of his office,” but with the country facing that very real possibility, not much has been said of this Which is surprising when we look back at Trump's presidency.
NewsBusters video editor Bill D'Agostino created a montage of various media personalities calling on government officials to invoke the 25th Amendment against former President Donald Trump, based on little more than his opinion that he was mentally unstable.
FLASHBACK: The media lobbied for the 25th Amendment to be invoked over 600 times while Trump was in office.
In all the media reactions to Joe Biden's debate performance last night, they have yet to declare on the 25th.

The 25th Amendment narrative was pushed more than 600 times during Trump's time in the White House, with MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell suggesting less than a month after his inauguration that Trump should be declared unfit to in office
With Trump in office just under a year, “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough quoted a close aide who claimed Trump had “pre-dementia” while running for president.
The following year, Bill Maher said, “Now that the 25th Amendment, the one about impeaching a president who is incapacitated, keeps coming up in the news, somebody has to explain to me if it wasn't written specifically for this dude, who is he? I know by now everyone knows Trump is a narcissist, but we need to stop treating him like he's an unfortunate personality and start treating him like he is. : a serious, dangerous mental illness.”
To be fair, Forbes reporter Brian Bushard ran an article this week titled “25th Amendment talk grows to replace Biden as president sinks on heels“.
Outside of a few Republicans, who may want to be careful what they wish for, Bushard named The New Yorker's Jeannie Suk Gersen and “The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart as two people who have mentioned the 25th Amendment .
Interestingly, one social media user made a suggestion as to why there might not be more calls to invoke the 25th amendment on Biden: “Have you met Kamala?”
Here's a quick sampling of responses to the story, including this one, as seen on X:
The “media” are truly pathetic. Thank God, people see it for what it is. A repetitive propaganda machine

Why is no one asking for the 25th amendment in the current Pres? Check out their VP and you'll have your answer.
