The General Prosecutor’s Office curbs radical gender treatments

“Attorney General Cameron, by securing a stay of the district court’s injunction, shows his commitment to fighting for the rule of law and the protection of Kentucky’s children,” said state Rep. Jennifer Decker, who had a fundamental role in the approval of the legislation in the House. “The Legislature has the power to prohibit the off-label experimental use of drugs that could cause long-term, irreversible consequences for children. This successful emergency motion is the latest development in Attorney General Cameron’s steadfast efforts to defend Senate Bill 150 and protect Kentucky’s children. Before that, he issued an opinion rebutting the Kentucky Department of Education’s flawed interpretation of the law, saying it missed the legislature’s intent.
