It’s hard to keep track of which season of the Covid hysteria series we’re watching. It’s one we wish would be canceled soon, never to return.
Starting in March 2020, when the “experts” took control of the government to advance their own hypochondria, their desire for control, and their ideological need for excessive security, it became inevitable that the policies of COVID may never end permanently.
Despite getting all great pandemic issue wrong, outside of Florida essentially, these same “experts” have had free rein to continue their reign of failure at the drop of a hat.
And a seasonal spike, even a small one, in COVID cases in recent weeks has served as a near-perfect straw.
Mask mandates they return to certain schools, hospitals and even small universities.
Just a few days ago, a hospital system in Ottawa announced they were going back to masks. This is not due to any actual increase in infections, hospitalizations or deaths, but simply because it is respiratory virus season. And these rules will remain throughout the respiratory virus season. Simply because they want them.
Activists continue their unchecked reign of disinformation and fear new variants which may be more transmissible, but show no signs of increased severity. The media continues to only “ask questions” about the return of the masks, tacitly or openly advocating that their favorite virtue signals the opportunity to return in full force.
