New data obtained by Representative Chip Roy's office reveals that 97 percent of all FACE Act cases have been against pro-life activists since the law passed. The FACE Act is the Clinton-era law that prohibits “violent, threatening, harmful, or obstructive conduct intended to injure, intimidate, or interfere with the right to seek, obtain, or provide reproductive health services.”
However, the law does not only aim to protect abortion clinics. It also protects pro-life pregnancy centers and places of religious worship. However, of the at least 55 FACE Act cases that have been prosecuted during the Biden administration, only five have involved pro-abortion attacks on pregnancy centers.
“In less than four years, Biden's DOJ has accounted for more than a quarter of all FACE prosecutions and about 24 percent of cases targeting pro-life activists, the data show,” the report says.
Pro-lifers prosecuted have been ruthlessly persecuted by the Biden administration. “Several of these cases have involved the FBI incursions of the houses of the pro-life activists, the imprisonment of Christian grandmothers, and even the prosecution of an 87-year-old communist concentration camp. survivor,” reports Breitbart. “The DOJ has specifically done that as well used a KKK-era law called an “anti-rights conspiracy” aimed at increasing prison time for pro-life activists accused of violating the FACE Act,” the outlet added.
The report is particularly worrying considering that by the admission from FBI Director Christopher Wray himself, approximately 70 percent of abortion-related threats of violence in the United States since the overturning of Roe v. Wade have been against pro-life groups. Per CatholicVote, there have been at least 90 attacks of pro-life groups and pregnancy centers and approximately 276 attacks about the Catholic churches.
