The CNN host says Trump wouldn't have run against anyone other than the “money laundering” charges.

CNN's Fareed Zakaria is likely to win a lot of fans now that he's come out and stated the obvious, that New York's case against former President Donald J. Trump is based on selective prosecution.

The only remaining hope of removing the former Trump before the election rests on the malicious case brought by Soros-backed New York prosecutor Alvin Bragg, centered on “hush money” payments to the Queen of Stormy Daniels porn, flimsy charges at best, which Zakaria says wouldn't even have been filed against anyone else.

On Sunday's edition of “Fareed Zakaria: GPS Sunday,” the CNN host noted that the mock trials have only made Trump stronger because his supporters see the legal dirty pool as politically motivated.

“The trials against him keep him in the spotlight, infuriate his base, which sees him as a martyr, and may even serve to endear him to some general public who believe their prosecutors have political motivations,” he said.

“In my opinion, that is true. I doubt that the New York indictment would have been brought against a defendant not named Donald Trump,” Zakaria added. “Some Americans Skeptical Trump Can Get Fair Trial According to CNN Poll”.

The host was referring to a CNN poll of last month, which was taken as the once-beloved cable network was gearing up for its gruesome blow-by-blow coverage of the Daniels trial, which it has reported in a sensationalist and prejudiced manner, and only it serves to reinforce the view of many that the deck has been unfairly stacked against Trump and the media is complicit.

In the poll, only 44 percent of Americans were confident that the jury drawn from a toxic New York City swimming pool “could reach a just verdict,” a number that is possibly much higher now, especially after Daniels' testimony, and could further crater this week when Bragg's star witness, disgraced and convicted ex-lawyer Michael Cohen takes the stand.

Zakaria, who is no fan of the former president, also warned that the polls do not accurately reflect the deep level of support for Trump and that, despite gaslighting on the economy, Biden has big problems on this critical issue and more

Billionaire investor Bill Ackman he reacted to the truth bomb of Zakaria sharing the video of his comments on X and predicting that Trump will win in a landslide.

“Polls say @POTUS Biden will lose to @realDonaldTrump. And polls always underestimate Trump's support, as Biden voters are not shy about their support, while Trump voters are more cautious when talking to pollsters,” he wrote.

“I wouldn't be surprised if it was a landslide,” Ackman added. “Listen to @FareedZakaria. He doesn't hide from the truth.”

Now that the Democratic law is collapsing at the worst possible time for the party, it's no longer taboo to criticize the law's extravagant weaponry for political reasons, and Zakaria probably didn't endear himself to his rabidly partisan CNN colleagues in go there
