Joshua Pippens has accused a 10-year-old boy, who he reportedly helped raise with his mother Travonna, of shooting him during a domestic dispute. The incident occurred when the boy allegedly grabbed a gun from Pippens' hip and fired it as he tried to protect his mother.

Pippens, however, denied being the “aggressor” in the situation. He shared security footage of the incident on Instagram, claiming that he still had the gun on his hip and that the boy reached for it, following his mother's example, and shot him. Pippens emphasized the importance of viewing the footage before it can be removed.

“As you can see I wasn't the aggressor and you can also see how I still had the gun on my hip, she took the gun from my hip following her mother's lead and tried to shoot me and then shoot. I advise you to see it before you take it out.” -Joshua Pippens

Pippens reiterated his innocence, stressing that he has custody of his children, while Travonna does not. He expressed his gratitude for surviving the incident, adding that he is enduring this ordeal and urged others to take their situations seriously.
