Thanksgiving flights may be ‘unsafe’ due to Biden admin’s priority PROBLEM, expert says

-

In the wake of the barbaric attack on Israel by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas and subsequent attacks on US troops stationed in the Middle East by Islamic extremist groups backed by Iran, there is growing concern about a potential attack terrorist in the United States.

Concerns are mounting because of the unprecedented invasion of foreign nationals at our southern border, where millions upon millions of illegal immigrants have crossed since President Biden took office, including thousands of “special interest aliens ” of most Middle Eastern countries. In fiscal year 2023, 169 terrorist suspects were found at the southern border, more than in the previous 6 years combined.

But the open border is producing another dangerous factor: deploying air marshals to the border and moving away from their role of screening passengers on flights for potential threats.

With a record 30 million Americans expected to head to the airport this Thanksgiving holiday, according to Fox News, Sonya LaBosco, director of the National Air Marshal Council, told the network that travelers to the US are left “unsafe”.

“We’re not flying right now. We just got an email last week that resources have been exhausted in terms of our air marshals,” LaBosco said this week. “We are bringing illegal immigrants across the border and making the traveling public unsafe.”

According to LaBosco, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and his subsidiary, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), are to blame, starting with TSA Administrator David Pekoske.

Citing a letter Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) sent to Pekoske, LaBosco said the air marshals deployed to the border region are “draining water” and “not doing law enforcement work “.

“I am writing about the Transportation Security Administration’s (“TSA”) deployment of hundreds of Air Marshals from the Federal Air Marshal Service (“FAMS”) to the southern border to assist Customs and US Border Patrol (“CBP”) to administer aid to illegal aliens,” Cruz wrote. “It is troubling that the administration has prioritized bringing illegal immigrants into the country over protecting the lives and safety of the traveling public.”

“Today, many miles below the skies that the Air Marshals are supposed to protect, the situation at the US-Mexico border has descended into chaos. Since President Biden took office, U.S. officials CBP have encountered more than 6.2 million illegal aliens along the southern border,” the Republican senator added. “This figure is in addition to the more than 1.6 million illegal alien “escapades” who have successfully crossed the southern border without detection, for a total of more than 7.8 million illegal crossings ·legal. In addition, more than 150 people on the FBI’s terrorist watch list have been apprehended at the southern border since the start of the current fiscal year.”

Fox News reported a year ago about a “mutiny” of air marshals who were initially deployed to the border on a voluntary basis before the Biden administration made it mandatory.

“Secretary Mayorkas has said more than once that the border is secure, so he is not concerned about that. But we all know the border is not secure,” LaBosco told Fox News. “He’s not going to call this a crisis. But now, not only is the border destabilized, our aviation is also destabilized.”

He also shared a troubling priority for this administration, stating that people who flew into the DC area around the Jan. 6 protest were put on a “domestic terrorist list” and have commissioners assigned to monitor them. their trips, regardless of whether they were in the US. Protest or not at the Capitol.

“Clearly … right now we don’t want to. The only missions we’re doing are ‘Quiet Skies’ missions, and those are missions that follow people from January 2021,” LaBosco said. “We’re either at the border for illegal immigrants or we’re following people starting in January 2021. We’re not doing our regular missions where we’re out there looking for the bad guys. So right now, on most flights, you won’t have air marshals.”

“Our main mission is a small group called Quiet Skies — it’s a mission called Quiet Skies, that we’re following people who flew into the National Capital Region in January 2021,” he added when asked to elaborate. “You didn’t have to go to the Capitol or the rally, and you were put on a specific list that the TSA has now assigned to air marshals to go after these people who have not had any kind of criminal investigation, no they’ve done it. he committed a crime, but yet three years later we’re following the same people day in and day out.”
