Texas Governor Greg Abbott has joined forces with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) to create a “Most Wanted” list of criminal illegal immigrants. The list includes 10 men, many of whom have multiple offenses on their rap sheets, with eight of the men charged with at least one sex offense, six against children. The list was compiled as part of an initiative to locate and arrest repeat offenders who have entered the country illegally and are wanted in connection with dangerous crimes committed in Texas.

One of the suspects included in this list is Omar David Zavala, who is wanted for sexual assault and terroristic threats. Zavala entered the US illegally from El Salvador and was last seen in Spring, TX. He is considered armed and dangerous. Another man on the list is Mexican Castro Zubiate, accused of human trafficking in El Paso County. After posting bail, Zubiate jumped bail and has not been seen since. He is charged with two counts of human trafficking for pecuniary purposes: crimes punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
Finally, Servando Trejo Duran Jr., a 62-year-old Mexican immigrant, was out on a parole violation when he disappeared from Baytown, Texas. His extensive rap sheet includes murder, residential burglary, vehicle theft and tampering with government records. Authorities say he goes by several aliases and is considered armed and dangerous.
Texas residents are asked to be on the lookout for these men, but should not attempt to apprehend them themselves. Instead, they are encouraged to report any sightings to authorities using one of three methods: by calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477), submitting a web tip via from the DPS website by selecting the fugitive they have information about. about, and clicking the link below their picture, or submitting a Facebook tip by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link in the “About” section. All tips are anonymous and tipsters will be given a number to use instead of their names. They can receive cash rewards for their tip leading to the arrest of any of the men on the list.

Governor Greg Abbott introduced today List of the 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants in Texas. Created in partnership with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), this list is a new initiative to locate and arrest repeat offenders who have entered the country illegally and are wanted for dangerous crimes committed in Texas.
“When President Joe Biden took office, he dismantled all of the effective border policies that his predecessor put in place,” Governor Abbott said. “As a result, we have seen record levels of illegal immigration, including dangerous criminals and terrorists who are a threat to the public safety of our state and our nation. These illegal immigrants will now be highlighted on our list of the 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants Texas is a law and order state and with the help of our fellow Texans we will make sure the illegal immigrants on this list are taken off our streets and put behind bars bars to keep our communities safe Texas will continue to take unprecedented action to protect Texans and our state from President Biden's border crisis.
“Criminals from around the world who enter the United States illegally and commit crimes in Texas are a threat to public safety,” said DPS Director Steve McCraw. “Individuals on the Texas Top 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants list are likely to commit other crimes, and DPS is enlisting the public's help in apprehending these criminals before they commit additional crimes. I thank Governor Abbott and Texas Crime Stoppers their partnership to launch this important program.”
Funded by the Governor's Office of Public Safety, Texas Crime Stoppers will offer cash rewards to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of one of Texas' 10 most wanted criminal illegal immigrants. Similar to other Texas 10 Most Wanted lists, fugitives on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List may be selected as the department's monthly featured fugitive.
To be eligible for cash rewards, tipsters must provide information to authorities using one of the following three methods:
- Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
- Submit a web tip via DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, then click the link below their picture.
- Send to Facebook tip by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).
All tips are anonymous, regardless of how they are submitted, and tipsters will be provided with a tip number rather than using a name.
DPS Special Agents will work with local and federal law enforcement agencies to apprehend all criminal illegal immigrant fugitives who have been identified and to select fugitives to appear on the Top 10 Criminal Illegal Immigrants list wanted from texas You can find current listings with photos at DPS website.
The Texans should not try to arrest these fugitives; they are considered armed and dangerous.
