Former President Barack Obama’s “justification” for Hamas’ terror attack on Israel was gutted by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in a scathing indictment of lies being pushed by the “radical left.”

After holding up a mirror to the president about his complicity in the Oct. 7 attack, podcast host Megyn Kelly raised the issue with the senator on “The Megyn Kelly Show” on Monday. The host turned to his guest and asked, “Hey, Senator, could you help him?”
“What utter and complete madness,” he began bluntly. “Was there anything else you could have done? Here’s an idea. Don’t give $100 billion to the monsters who are committing these massacres.”
“Barack Obama led the effort to flood cash into Iran. The Ayatollah in Iran leads crowds chanting ‘death to America and death to Israel’. They want to commit mass murder. They want eliminate the state of Israel. They want to kill every Jew,” the Texas lawmaker continued, blasting the Iranian regime’s known goals.
He then reminded listeners how that money gets to terrorism as he offered: “Hamas: Over 90% of Hamas funding comes from Iran. Hezbollah: Over 90% of Hezbollah funding comes from the “Iran. Barack Obama funded them and then listen, he says, well, what Hamas did was indefensible ‘and there’s no justification,’ but let me give a justification.”
In addition to delivering a speech at an event hosted by his own Obama Foundation in which he described the war in the Middle East as a “moral justification for all of us,” the president sought to obscure the heart of the conflict in “complexity” in “You Can Save America.”
“If there is any chance that we can act constructively, do something, it will have to admit the complexity and hold what on the surface may seem like conflicting ideas,” Obama said, “that what Hamas did was horrible and not there is justification for this, and what is also true is that the occupation and what is happening to the Palestinians is unbearable.”
His addition of the notion: “You’ve got to admit we’re all complicit to some degree” had Kelly commenting on social media: “Especially you sir.”

Cruz continued his tear against Obama, noting, “He’s actually using the same line that the Harvard radicals did, and of course Barack Obama is a graduate of Harvard Law School, just a few years ahead of me , and his justification, he says ‘the occupation is unbearable’. What profession? That’s a lie, and it’s a lie that the radical left is pushing. Gaza is not occupied. Israel left Gaza.”
He also aired how funds earmarked for humanitarian aid are used to produce weapons of war before shaming the corporate media for perpetuating terrorist propaganda such as the “lie that 500 Palestinians were killed” after Hamas was considered responsible for an explosion outside a hospital that had been easily. described as an Israeli attack without evidence.
“He’s repeating an anti-Semitic lie,” Cruz said of Obama with claims about the Gaza occupation before speaking more broadly to the left, “because in his cultural Marxist worldview, the Israelis — the Jews are the oppressors and they want to overthrow the oppressors. .
