Happy Wednesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. Rennard imagined himself a kite-flying dandy despite the perpetual ill-fitting of his dungarees.

First of all, Hunter Biden will always be a scoundrel and the story won’t go away, despite all the corrupt father strings.

The curious case of Robert Francis Kennedy Jr. it’s becoming, as Alice in Wonderland said, “more and more curious.”

The Democrats obviously hoped that the drooling shell they have as a sitting president would not be questioned at all. They cannot have Biden in any kind of competition with other people, as he is in a constant battle with himself. They just want to get Sir Sniffsalot back in the basement and shoot the occasional video where First Lady DOCTOR Cruella Biden can do all the talking.

Hey, it worked once before.

Marianne Williamson is not a problem for Biden or his handlers. As she makes dreamcatchers out of locally sourced hemp and sings old Norse rhymes of plunder, they pretend he’s not so crazy.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. presents more problems, or at least Biden’s surrogates are acting that way. Robert wrote a couple of stories yesterday about Dem media cheerleaders running interference for Biden. Here is the history of YouTube:

If we were left to ourselves, we could make bad and self-destructive decisions, as we did in 2016 when we elected Donald Trump as President of the United States. Now, the social media giants really want you to dislike Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., which is why YouTube just pulled an interview it did with Jordan Peterson. If you saw what he actually said, you might end up voting for him instead of Old Joe Biden, and that would never happen.

This is just a case of YouTube being good democrat dogs and letting their owners know they’re still obedient. Lefties no longer have Twitter on their side, and as Robert points out, the video is still available there. YouTube accomplished nothing more than letting Democrats know that it will always be there for them.

Robert’s other story covered an utterly pathetic hit piece that the Los Angeles Times did to Kennedy:

It would make a great novel, but it’s real life, and it’s a stirring reminder that America is still a republic, still a place where elites can be challenged, however entrenched they may seem. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. he has not only challenged the elites, he has scared them to the core, and that is wonderful to see. The final indication of how much of a threat they consider it to be comes from the Los Angeles Times, always a reliable organ for far-left propaganda. The Left Coast time he is so afraid of RFK Jr. that monday, that he proclaimed“Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a threat to your health and our democracy.”

Now, this is absurd on the face of it and an insult to the intelligence of the remaining handful Los Angeles Times readers The left has become so divorced from reality that time Writer Michael Hiltzik would have us believe that a contested Democratic primary is bad for “our democracy.” But a complete coronation of Old Joe to serve another four years as a figurehead for the shadowy individuals who actually run things? Why, that would be “our democracy” personified. A single candidate, inevitable result? Good democracy! Two candidates, unclear result? Bad democracy!

From here it gets more absurd. As we discussed before, the mainstream media will have to work even harder than they did in 2020 to support Biden, so the stories will only grow bigger, and more confusing.

Preemptive strikes by the MSM for their preferred candidates is nothing new. That seems a little premature to me, though. Yes, any real competition would not be a good look for Biden. Democrats, however, are good at protecting people who want to get their presidential nominations. They constitute “super-duper delegates” or something.

Kennedy may have the name, but most people on both sides of the aisle thought of him as a bit of an outlier when he entered the race. As we were reminded by Mr. Green in a VIP column earlier this month, RFK Jr. he’s still a llamainist, not that that’s necessarily a bad thing in the democrat party. I can’t help but think that the bits of panic we’re seeing from the Democrats are giving Kennedy more credibility than he’s earning for himself. They are creating a more formidable opponent than can actually exist.

RFK Jr.’s Biggest Threat for Biden it would probably be as a third-party candidate anyway, so they might not want to push him out of the Democratic primary so quickly. The old “keep your enemies closer” strategy.

This is fun political theater at times, but it’s also a painful reminder that everyone on the Dem side is a prog show who should never be anywhere near any kind of power.
