Ron DeSantis' presidential campaign expertly sought out fellow candidate Nikki Haley, offering donors a ticket to “her future home, the vice president's residence” if she's “too cowardly” to attend the Iowa debate.
The DeSantis team is offering two tickets to supporters in New York or Washington, DC as an alternative to the Iowa debate should it not take place. They could see where Haley would supposedly reside if she doesn't have the guts to debate the governor of Florida. So far, he has not engaged in the CNN debate.
“As with previous debates, the DeSantis campaign is offering donors the chance to win two tickets to the debate in Iowa next month, which includes airfare, hotel rooms and a meet and greet,” he said. daily mail reported
“But this time, in a trolling of former U.N. Ambassador Haley, the campaign is offering alternatives if she's 'too cowardly to debate Governor DeSantis one-on-one,' under the terms of the sweepstakes,” the outlet added of news

The Republican National Committee (RNC) is allowing CNN to host the Iowa debate.
“CNN is host a debate in Iowa before the Jan. 15 caucuses and in New Hampshire before the Jan. 23 primary. So far, DeSantis is the only candidate who has fully committed to the upcoming debate,” the Daily Mail noted.
Haley seems willing to debate only if Trump takes the stage with her and DeSantis. And while he seems to be clamoring to attend the debate, he has yet to commit.
“Since the RNC pulled out of the debates, a lot of new offers have come in,” Haley spokeswoman Olivia Perez-Cubas said. axes in an interview “We look forward to debating in Iowa and continuing to show voters why Nikki is the best candidate to unseat Joe Biden and save our country. That debate should include Donald Trump.”
DeSantis' team takes advantage of Haley's hesitation to confront him.
“'In this last Republican primary debate, [DeSantis] pushed Nikki Haley into the background while reminding voters that she has conceded on every major fight as leader — from taxes to protecting women and children to China,” said the press secretary of DeSantis, Bryan Griffin, to the Daily Mail in a statement.
“After this loss, it's no wonder why Haley has not confirmed that she will join Ron DeSantis on the debate stage in Iowa and New Hampshire next month,” he said.

If the debate doesn't happen, the two winners of DeSantis' sweepstakes will have the option of going to New York City to tour the United Nations where Nikki Haley served as ambassador during Trump's presidency. Or they can choose to go to Washington, DC to see the Vice President's residence. Both choices are a nod to Haley…one on globalism and the other claiming she is seeking former President Trump's VP nod.
“Under conditions, the campaign writes, winners could choose” up to $1,500 round-trip airfare to Washington, D.C. and hotel accommodations so the winner can see the Naval Observatory, the new home what Nikki wants,” wrote the Daily Mail citing the rules of the draw. .
There is also a third option that gives Haley another shot.
“A third option is for the winners to receive airfare and lodging near a data warehouse 'so you can see how Nikki will store all your data in the unlikely event she becomes president,'” in a troll from its previous proposal that social media companies store user data and prevent people from posting anonymously online,” the news outlet said.
If none of them appeal to the winners, they can use their winnings for the next debateif there are any.
