Survey shows Democrat and Independent voters are moving away from Joe Biden

A Fox News poll released on Monday reveals an increasing number of Americans believe Joe and Hunter Biden have done something illegal in relation to Hunter Biden’s business deals with foreign countries.

The survey found that 52 percent of participants think Hunter Biden committed an illegal act when it comes to business dealings with Ukraine and China. This survey shows an uptick since a previous poll was taken in December 2022.

Furthermore, this increase includes Republican, Democrat, and Independent voters, with members of all three political parties more likely to agree that Hunter Biden committed an illegal act. 

It is worth noting that around one-third of voters think Hunter’s business dealings were unethical, while those who think Hunter Biden did nothing wrong dropped from 19 percent to 8 percent. This compounds the fact that 40 percent of voters indicate Joe Biden did something unlawful when it comes to his son Hunter’s foreign business transactions.

This poll shows a notable shift in sentiment for voters across the political aisle towards Joe Biden, as another poll posted today by Rasmussen on the social media platform known as X shows that 53 percent of voters currently disapprove of Joe Biden.

Voters across the board seem to be more wary of the Biden family’s activities, especially after Hunter Biden was indicted last month on federal gun charges. Special Counsel David Weiss charged the younger Biden with false statements related to purchasing a firearm, falsifying information to a federal arms dealer, and possession of a firearm by an illegal user. 

Furthermore, the Biden family’s business dealings and Hunter’s indictment created interesting polling data among Democrats. According to a post by Rasmussen on X, 67 percent of Democrats are concerned the United States is becoming a police state, and 30 percent say they will vote for Trump if he wins the 2024 GOP nomination.
