Pennsylvania’s run-down senator, Democrat John Fetterman, is winning conservative plaudits for his unwavering support for Israel following the Oct. 7 terror attack by Hamas.
On Thursday, a smiling Fetterman heard “ceasefire” protesters who were being detained at a Capitol rally walk past them waiving an Israeli flag.

The junior senator was booed by protesters who shouted “shame”, called him a “joke” and accused him of supporting “genocide”.
But, at X, he was applauded by those on the right, as people who admitted they are not fans of Fetterman gave him his due “credit” for challenging liberal and pro-Palestinian talking points.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Fetterman is doing fantastic work in Israel,” said OutKick founder Clay Travis.
“OK, Fetterman mowing down a group of pro-Palestinian protesters with an Israeli flag is pretty funny,” wrote retired Air Force Lt. Col. Robert “Buzz” Patterson.
“Credit where it’s due,” declared The First, the “TV/digital home” of Bill O’Reilly, Jesse Kelly, Dana Loesch, Liz Wheeler, Sean Spicer and Mike Slater.

It’s not the first time a member of The First family has made a concession to Fetterman.
Last month, the senator plastered the walls of his office with the faces of the missing Israelis.
“My office will show the last of the innocent Israelis kidnapped by Hamas until they return home safely,” Fetterman vowed. “We won’t stop sharing their stories until then.”
“Credit is where credit is due on this issue,” commented Dana Loesch.

Before that, Fetterman criticized fellow lawmakers who jumped to blame Israel for the bombing of a hospital in Gaza.
“Innocent Israelis were the victims of a terrorist attack that resulted in the greatest loss of Jewish life since the Holocaust,” the senator wrote to X. “We now know that the tragedy at the Gaza hospital did not be caused by Israel.”

“I grieve for every innocent person and brave Israeli soldier killed since Hamas started this war. If not for the horrific attacks by Hamas terrorists, thousands of innocent Israelis and Palestinians would still be alive today,” he continued. “Now is not the time to talk about a ceasefire. We must support Israel in efforts to eliminate the Hamas terrorists who killed innocent men, women and children.”
“Hamas doesn’t want peace, it wants to destroy Israel,” Fetterman said. “We can talk about a ceasefire after the neutralization of Hamas.”
