We stand with President Trump, firmly believing that he is our nation's last best hope. However, one of the good things about the MAGA movement is that it's perfectly fine to disagree with it on certain issues. Trump is very open to feedback from his base, acknowledging that he may not always get everything right; after all, he is human and no one is perfect. This openness is what really energizes and strengthens our movement. That's why when he recently came out in favor of giving all foreign college graduates a “green card” with their diploma, most of the America First movement did a double take.
President Trump was speaking with the All In podcast when he made the remarks.
Trump says @theallinpod that if you graduate from a US university, you should automatically get a green card with your diploma.

Look, we understand that DEI has eroded “excellence” in our country, and yes, we are at a crucial moment where injecting brilliance into the veins of our nation is crucial, or we risk collapse complete and total A businessman at heart, Trump is naturally on the lookout for the best and brightest, especially at such critical times. However, we can't throw out Americans and replace them with foreigners, not when bright, skilled white students and workers are overlooked because of their skin color and gender. What President Trump is proposing would inadvertently set up an unfair competition between foreigners and Americans on their own soil, which Trump loyalist Steve Bannon says is America Last.
Steve respectfully and thoughtfully points out why Trump's idea will not serve Americans well and proposes an alternative. Send these foreigners back, where they can help improve and make their countries great again.
AMERICA FIRST AND AMERICAN CITIZENS FIRST: REDUCING FOREIGN STUDENTS AND PRIORITIZING JOBS FOR AMERICAN CITIZENS
“We can't just bring the whole world in and take their best and brightest, beating them out of the American people. That creates unnecessary intense competition.”
We must put American citizens first and maintain a nation of strong and educated individuals. Reducing foreign student places by 50% and sending them back to improve their countries guarantees real partnerships. AI and technology jobs must benefit Americans first.

One of Trump's most loyal fighters also chimed in on the “diploma/green card” idea, saying this about the idea:
I love President Trump, but I don't agree that you should get a green card if you graduate from an American university. Millions of illegals here in the US are here on overstayed visas and green cards.
Giving green cards to college graduates from foreign nations is a policy that the rank and file opposes.
How can we trust that any vetting of foreigners on campus would be done properly when research in other areas such as personnel has failed?
No wonder Big Tech billionaires approve of importing immigrants to fill tech jobs.
I'm sure the Big Tech billionaires think the Indians in the call centers who handle our customer service and don't speak English are “brilliant” too.
They are not, however. These foreigners only take jobs away from Americans and that's also why Big Tech was able to get away with stealing the election in 2020, as I wrote in my book.
Over 75% of Silicon Valley workers at Big Tech companies are H1B visa workers from countries like Saudi Arabia, China, India and Bangladesh whose values are inherently INCOMPATIBLE with our values here in the United States. This is why there is a culture of CENSORSHIP AND DEBANKING in Big Tech.
Many of these people are also spies for foreign countries, and when they work for these tech companies, they have access to the data of millions of Americans. There are countless stories about immigrants who come to America, work for Big Tech, and get caught as spies for foreign regimes.
It also discourages Americans from pursuing tech careers when Silicon Valley billionaires say “we have to import bright people.” We have brilliant people here too. It's just that Big Tech never wants to invest in Americans. That's why they're all made in China.
Let's stop pretending that all Big Tech billionaires are America First. Life is worse for them under Biden, and Biden's behavior is INDEFENDABLE, but these are the same people who were happy to let Big Tech steal the 2020 election without accountability and said nothing when millions of Americans , including myself and Donald Trump, were censored, silenced, deplatformed, and Big Tech billionaires interfered in our elections.
Big Tech is no friend of MAGA.
Sure we can take their money, and I appreciate some of their public endorsements and new found support for Donald Trump, but they aren't really concerned about MAGA's base or improving the quality of life for everyday Americans.
No more visas until every homeless veteran is off the street in America.
No more visas until the middle class is truly restored to America.
No more visas until all illegal aliens are deported.
This is what I want to see. And this is what the MAGA base also wants to see.
Big Tech has faced zero accountability for what they did to our country in 2020. Never forget what these people did to us and what they took from us.
Although the data shows that Americans continue to outnumber highly skilled foreign workers, the number of these skilled foreigners is growing at a steady rate. That's not good news for many Americans, who are already on the outside looking in, thanks to DEI.
Immigrants remain more likely than US-born workers to work in lower-skilled occupations. But the share of immigrants in high-skill, non-mechanical jobs has risen in recent decades, according to a new Pew Research Center analysis of federal government data. The change has been most noticeable in jobs that prioritize analytical skills, such as science and math, or foundational skills, such as writing and speaking. A growing proportion of immigrants also work in jobs where social skills such as negotiation and persuasion are important.
Within this broad general pattern, there are key differences between immigrant groups. Hispanic immigrants, by far the largest group of immigrant workers, are mostly employed in lower-skilled occupations. Asian immigrants, the largest bloc of newcomers, work primarily in higher-skilled occupations. The skill distribution among black immigrants falls between these two extremes, while white immigrant workers are distributed among high-skill jobs like their Asian counterparts.
Overall, the share of immigrants in the US labor force has risen sharply in recent decades, from 10% in 1995 to 17% in 2018. Immigrants are also expected to play a major role in the growth of country's workforce until 2035.
There's also research showing that highly skilled foreign workers can help a business grow, and again, we understand that, but at a time when so many Americans are suffering, looking across the ocean for your well paid work is not the best. answer
Glennon's article, published in the Journal of Economic Perspectives, notes that hiring skilled workers from abroad can make large companies more productive and innovative. When companies perform better and invest more because of highly skilled immigrants, they usually end up hiring more people, which is good for the economy.
In addition, immigrants often bring new ideas and technology, which can make businesses more efficient and raise wages overall. For example, 59% of PhD graduates in artificial intelligence hired by US companies are immigrants, according to research, showing that the talent powering America's thriving AI industry comes from all over the world. They also help multinational companies perform better when exporting their products and services abroad, Glennon notes.
The first order of business should be to purge DEI from the federal government and private corporations, ensuring that all Americans have a fair shot at jobs based on merit, not charity cases. After that, our focus must shift to equipping Americans with the skills they need to excel. President Trump may be looking too far ahead, envisioning a stage where he has already achieved these goals and is ready to add extra icing to the cake. But we are not there yet; we have a long way to go and we must always make sure that Americans come first. President Trump knows this, but a gentle reminder never hurts anyone, it only helps us grow as a movement.
