France's Golden Arches offered a comical response to their country's gold medal loss with a menu overhaul suggested by Team USA's Steph Curry, “for obvious reasons…”
For the second consecutive Summer Olympics, the men's basketball final came to the United States against France. Similarly, Saturday's clash marked the second consecutive time the United States defeated its oldest ally, prompting McDonald's France to consider scrapping its “Classic Curry” sauce due to of the point guard of the Golden State Warriors.
“For obvious reasons, we're considering removing this sauce,” the business posted on Instagram after the U.S. won 98-87. “For 4 years minimum.”
Hardly an innocent bystander at the suggested salsa strike, Curry made his own sport of trolling the host nation, including pushing the message “nuit nuit” during and after the gold medal showdown.
While his 24 points, including four 3-pointers in the final minutes of the game, had helped secure the victory, the point guard was seen alone and with his teammates putting their hands next to their heads as if taking a nap to sell the “night night”. ” message.
Also, while decked out in his gold medal, Curry was spotted wearing a hoodie that featured an image of the Eiffel Tower alongside the “nuit nuit” dig he'd been using as a hashtag.
“You went for this gold medal content! #nuitnuit,” she posted on X.

Commenting on his player's dominant performance, Team USA and Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told reporters after the game, “I've seen Steph a few times, but it never gets old .It's a global game with a lot of great players, but we still feel like we've got the best players through it all, through all the noise, all the pressure. We could be the only team in the world “shame on them if they get a silver medal, and that's the pressure we face.”
“But our players, and you've seen Steph, they love the pressure. They appreciate that atmosphere and they were fantastic,” he continued.
However, some issues for the Curry family were considerably less cheerful, as a video released by The Hollywood Fix showed his wife, Ayesha Curry, believed to be with two of their children, as well as the mother of player, Sonya Curry, and teammate Draymond Green. an altercation with the French police.
“Look, they're not going to let us go back where we came from,” Sonya could be heard telling officers as a translator acted as an intermediary with authorities. “They won't let the driver come here, and they won't let us back there.”
During the exchange, Green accused one of the officers of hitting Curry's baby, saying, “So even after you hit the baby in the head, you still can't do anything to get them out of here? “
The reason given by officials for preventing the group from passing was the expected move by French President Emmanuel Macron who had attended the final.
