Southwest Airlines Flight 6013 LAS-CMH departing from Las Vegas was diverted when the pilot collapsed shortly after takeoff on the morning of March 22, 2023 – the fifth pilot collapse in the past 3 weeks!

Pilot Josh Yoder reports, “Passengers on a Southwest flight out of Las Vegas advise me that the the captain was incapacitated shortly after takeoff this morning. He was removed from the flight deck and replaced by a non-Southwest pilot who was traveling on that flight.

This is now the fifth incapacity of the pilot that I know for the last two weeks. I will post more details as they become available.” (click here)
