Soldier attacks Biden for charging him ,000 for equipment he was ordered to leave behind in Afghanistan

A US soldier is criticizing the Biden regime for charging him $4,000 for military equipment he was ordered to leave behind in Afghanistan.

“Today is gear day for me. I’m turning in all the gear I’ve collected over the past four years of being on active duty with the Army with the 82nd Airborne Division,” he said.

“Two years ago, my unit deployed to Afghanistan for the withdrawal from Afghanistan. We spent a few weeks there. It was hectic, chaotic, disgusting and I was very disappointed in our government. Today I remember how I am disappointed with our government”, he continued.

Then the soldier, who had an 82 Airman patch and Michael’s name tag, recounted the episode in Afghanistan that sparked the Army accounting dispute.

“Since the last two birds were sitting on the tarmac ready to go, there was no room for extra equipment or extra weight. So we were told to leave it. Some of the lower recruiting guys, myself included, they said, “No, these things are expensive, I’m not leaving it. They’re going to charge me for it when it’s time to leave,’” he explained.

“For a guy who left the team in a place where you put me to begin with. The government is so stinking backwards right now, man. The last priority of this administration is the American people. And within the American people, their last priority is their soldiers, their marines, their airmen, their navy.”

“So messy, man,” he added.

As journalist Lara Logan has pointed out, the young soldier is certainly not alone in his complaint.

He is not the only one. Outrageous

“He’s not the only one,” Logan said, referring to a Trending Politics News article. “Incandescent”.

The “I Meme then I Am” pundit also weighed in on the imbroglio.

“IF THAT DOESN’T MAKE YOUR BLOOD BOIL, I DON’T KNOW WHAT WILL?!!!” said the user. “Soldiers were ordered to leave equipment in Afghanistan, and now there is an attempt to charge them for it. Once they are ordered to leave their belongings, they are not financially liable under the property loss policy of the army”.

Another user, who wants more details and verification, is investigating the soldier’s claim.

I’m sure you’ve seen it happen. I spoke to the soldier last night and he is adamant that they were told to leave some of that gear behind. He will send me his CIF records. @johnburk39 and I also spoke to @RepDanCrenshaw directly last night about this and he is… pic.twitter.com/fwR68Jj9HA

“I’m sure you saw this happening. I spoke to the soldier last night and he is adamant that they were told to leave some of this equipment behind,” said the Stolen Valor account. “He will send me his CIF records.”

“@johnburk39 and I also spoke with @RepDanCrenshaw directly last night about this and he is looking into it as well,” the account added. “Once he has his OCIE records, we’ll go back with Crenshaw to try and put the pieces together. Because if it’s true, he shouldn’t be forced to pay for it, the same for any other soldier who left equipment behind during the retreat.

“Some soldiers received two equipment numbers, the initial issue and an RFI issue,” the account continued. “They told him to leave his extra stuff behind. We’ll hear more today, hopefully. Because if it’s true, it means he’s not the only soldier getting paid for the equipment left in Afghanistan.”

During Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, the US military abandoned nearly $7.2 billion in equipment in the war-torn country. Other military equipment seized by the Taliban included hundreds of Humvees, numerous Blackhawk helicopters and thousands of small arms.

Now, it appears US soldiers are paying for Biden’s disastrous Afghan withdrawal. personally
