US Rep. Anna Paulina Luna has hit back at online trolls who have discovered images of her wearing a Make America Great Again swimsuit.
The Florida Republican called out critics after 2016 video went viral, showing off her sporty MAGA-themed swimsuit and support for Donald Trump before he was elected to serve in the House of Representatives.
Luna appeared in Sports Illustrated online in 2013 and as a swimsuit model maximum magazine in 2014. Her modeling of the MAGA swimsuit made the rounds on social media and caught the attention of the now 35-year-old, who responded in fiery posts to X.
“I am confirming that I have worn bathing suits and can be said to be biologically female,” she wrote.

The freshman legislator is the first Mexican-American woman elected to Congress to represent Florida, serving the constituents of the Sunshine State's Thirteenth Congressional District. She served in the United States Air Force and her husband Andy Gamberzky is a Bronze Star recipient who earned a Purple Heart serving in Afghanistan.
