Things got very heated during what was supposed to be a civil debate between those with opposing views on the conflict between Israel and the terrorist organization Hamas when volatile left-wing pundit Cenk Uygur had a meltdown.
The easily combustible founder of the podcast “The Young Turks” appeared on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” where he confronted Rabbi Shmuley Boteach and, when he could not make a rational argument, resorted to the typical insults that have become a trademark hallmark of modern leftist discourse. accusing the man of God of being a “mustache” and a “racist”.
While the show’s host stayed above the fray, the two men had a heated argument over Hamas talking points that the left was talking about, that Jewish democracy is engaging in “genocide” against the Palestinians, and the conversation went off the rails when the Uyghurs lost it afterwards. Shmuley called him a “Jew hater.”
Tempers flare as Rabbi Shmuley accuses Cenk Uygur of being a “Jew hater” who is trying to write him off.

“I’ve spent my life debating people. Whenever someone starts using personal names and yelling like crazy, they’re losing the debate,” Rabbi Boteach said.
“You’re the one who made things up!” The Uighur fired as sparks flew among Morgan’s guests.
“The Palestinians were offered a state in 1936 and the PLO commission rejected it,” Boteach claimed. “In 1947 they were offered a state, the UN partition plan. They rejected it.”
“They were offered a state in 1967 after Israel conquered Judea and Samaria in the West Bank. They turned it down,” he went on to give a history lesson to the volatile left. “In 2000 they were offered a state, Yasser Arafat and Barak, rejected it. They were offered a state with Ehud Olmert 2008. They rejected it. They have, Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza in 2005 and they did not create a state.”
“Actually where were you Cenk?” Boteach asked. “When you say you care about Palestinian children, when Hamas stole the highest rate of international foreign aid per capita, greater than the Marshall Plan, from Palestinian children, it didn’t build them schools, it didn’t build hospitals, it brought all the money to buy bombs and build a network of tunnels, which is bigger than the New York subway system.”
“Where were you then? Why have you only come now? In fact, when Bashar al-Assad killed 600,000 children, Arab children, when he gassed them with mustard gas, my organization took out full-page ads in the New York Times for protect them from sarin gas,” he added. “Where were you then? You don’t care about our children.”
“You are a Jew-hater, defined as someone who just wants to lie and say that Jews are dangerous,” Boteach told the emotional Turkish-American podcaster.
“Shut up! A bigot!” Uighur yelled, throwing out the race card that is almost always played when a leftist loses an argument. “You’re racist!”
“Don’t try to write me off and say I shouldn’t be,” the rabbi concluded. “You are not a producer of this program because you ignore the facts. And ignoring history doesn’t mean you can find my voice.”
