Serbia school shooting: Eight students die after shooter opens fire in class

EEight students are reportedly dead after a teenage student walked into class and began shooting at his classmates in central Belgrade, Serbia, authorities said Wednesday.

A security guard was also killed and six other students and a teacher were hospitalized, according to CNN.

Local channel B92.net reported that the 14-year-old male shooter burst into a history class and began shooting students.

The seventh-degree suspect was arrested. Police said he fired several shots with his father’s gun at other students and the school guard.

Authorities said they received a call about the shooting around 8:40 a.m. local time. His research has only just begun.
