The Secret Service reportedly delayed former President Donald Trump's speech in Tennessee due to a security concern.
Just before taking the stage at Nashville's Music City Center for the 2024 Bitcoin conference, Trump was told to wait briefly for his Secret Service detail as two attendees left.
“Former President Trump's remarks at the 2024 Bitcoin conference in Nashville, Tennessee were delayed when two accredited and screened individuals were removed from the facility for not following proper entry protocols,” he said a Secret Service spokesman. ABC News.
The spokesman told the outlet that “there was never a threat” to the Republican presidential candidate, but was told to wait to make a speech until the two individuals were located.

“It was determined that there was no protective interest with these individuals and there was never a threat to the former president,” the spokesman said.
Trump commented on the delay as soon as he took the stage over the weekend, the event coming exactly two weeks after an assassination attempt on his life during his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
“So, the Secret Service said to me, 'Sir, we'd like a little more time.' I said take all the time you want,” Trump said as the audience laughed.
Although law enforcement eventually questioned the individuals and removed them from the event, they were not charged. They reportedly passed a checkpoint inspection.
