(Ken Silva, Holder USA) The F.B.I released a new batch of records on Tuesday about its investigation into January 6, 2021, capitol hill raise: raise more questions about the event in the process.
Among the 107 pages of new records is a series of emails with the subject line, “Leave. Look down.” The emails are heavily redacted and the people in the email thread are anonymous. Only one person's title was revealed: a supervising intelligence analyst in the FBI's DC office. Even the date and times of the emails are redacted, except for one that was sent at 17:46 on January 5, 2021.

The limited information in the emails suggests that law enforcement was investigating a group of people who traveled to Washington DC on January 5.
“We're standing inside [REDACTED]. The predicated subjects have been [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] is being reported. The only people in the group who remain in DC are non-subjects, who do not carry weapons and appear to be only involved in legal First Amendment protests,” said one email in the thread.
In response to this email, another person said: “Thank you all for moving forward so quickly today!”
Law enforcement did have to deal with some armed individuals on January 5, 2021, as noted by the January 6 Defendant. William Pope.
The first was Thomas Gronek of North Carolina, who was on the Hippies for Trump bus that stopped on January 5th. Gronek carried a pink Ruger 10/22 rifle, with 275 rounds of .22 ammunition, and a black Springfield 9mm pistol with 31. rounds of ammunition. Gronek was detained until… pic.twitter.com/dRRVgKShVF

For example, the DC Metropolitan Police Department stopped a “Hippies for Trump” bus on January 5 and arrested a protester during that stop. Officers said they found a handgun, a rifle, more than 300 rounds of ammunition and fireworks.
Another would-be protester, Colorado man Harlan Boen, was arrested Jan. 5 for bringing a gun to Freedom Plaza.
The batch of FBI emails released Tuesday also includes conversations between members of the Joint Terrorism Task Force, or JTTF, on Jan. 5, 2021, warning of potential violence.
“Hello everyone, [REDACTED] asked before about [REDACTED] subjects who reach the [National Capitol Region] this week they have been [REDACTED]. For [REDACTED] i [REDACTED] (cc'd), below is information about [REDACTED] subjects traveling to the NCR [REDACTED].”
Another heavily redacted email from January 4, 2021 shows that the JTTF is treating the upcoming Stop the Steal rally as a “business as usual” event.
“Usually early [warning order] for something that is prepared. There are some people posting intent to go down to DC to hurt the 6thth. [REDACTED] what are they working on [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] … and there are likely others… That's all I have. At least you should be [REDACTED] from here on out,” said the January 4 email.
The FBI declined to comment on its Jan. 6 investigation in response to emails from Headline USA.
