Sanctuary State Sheriff Arrests Illegal Alien For Sexual Assault Of 6-Year-Old Boy [VIDEO]

Tuesday evening, Kankakee County Sheriff's Deputies he answered to an incident of sexual assault in unincorporated Bourbonnais.

Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Juan C. Alvizar, 38, a resident of the Oak Creek Estates mobile home park.

Following his arrest, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Homeland Security) agents issued a detainer for Alvizar due to his illegal alien status.

Sheriff Mike Downey stated, “While we want to make every effort possible to maintain the privacy of the victim in this particular case, I believe it is vitally important for the residents of Kankakee County to understand that this heinous act was completely preventable based solely on the fact that this criminal should not be in the country.”

Downey also expressed gratitude to the deputies and investigators for their work on this challenging case.

As of Thursday, Alvizar was being held at the Jerome Combs Detention Center on charges of criminal sexual assault predator/victim under 13 and criminal sexual assault.

He was awaiting a bond hearing before a Kankakee County judge.
