Political strategist James Carville had a salty response to Jesse Watters after the Fox News anchor mocked Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz over his law requiring tampons to be provided in children's school bathrooms.

After lamenting that “Tampon Tim” has been gaining traction, Carville said, “Here we are. It's all over Fox News and the leader, I mean Jesse Watters, could it be bigger than that? I don't know how many people follow him , pay attention to him…”

“I have a message for Jesse and the whole freak show is why don't you take a tampon and stick it up your ass?” Carville whistled. “Because that's where it goes, in the ass.”

“Or maybe you can put it in your mouth,” he added. “Maybe you can take a used one and stick it in your mouth and suck it, because that's what you suck.”

Watters, who clearly struck a nerve with the acid-tongued veteran of the political wars, responded to Carville's profane suggestion about what to do with tampons.

“The Democratic Party is wavering, especially after Kamala put a monster on her ticket,” Watters said on Friday's edition of “Jesse Watters Primetime” on Fox News.

“James Carville, who 'Primetime' has no problem with, in fact we invited him on our show in Chicago, he just attacked us,” she said, showing a clip of the consultant's vulgar rant.

“We don't take it personally,” Watters laughed. “But it seems the Tampon Tim thing struck a nerve. Our invitation to Carville is still valid and he can explain to me why fourth grade boys need tampons in the bathroom.”

Minnesota law states: “A school district or charter school must provide students with access to menstrual products at no cost. The products must be available to all menstruating students in bathrooms regularly used by students in grades 4-12 “in accordance with a plan developed by the school district. For purposes of this section, “menstrual products'' means pads, tampons, or other similar products used in connection with the menstrual cycle.”

Carville, who was credited with Bill Clinton's shock 1992 election victory with his famously effective “It's the Stupid Economy” slogan, was able to put Slick Willie and Hillary in the White House for a lucrative run which now spans more than three decades, but it's time to retire.

Walz's tampon bill will be something that will come to define him as the bottom half of the most radical presidential ticket in American history.
