Richard Grenell slams Biden-Harris administration's failure to 'accidentally' give Taliban $239m

Terrorists and “Your Tax Money!” they were the subject of a new report that saw a former intelligence official slam the Biden-Harris administration for a nine-figure “accident.”

As tensions in the Middle East looked set to boil over Iran's declared intention to attack Israel, President Joe Biden's disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan appears to have cost even more than lives of 13 service members and equipment worth billions of dollars.

On Saturday, the Leader Report detailed that the State Department's Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL) and International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) divisions had handed over at least $239 million that likely ended into the hands of the Taliban after failing. to properly scrutinize non-profit organizations established for the sole purpose of defrauding the United States of aid money.

“The State Department gave $239 million to the Taliban. Your tax dollars!” wrote former Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell as he shared the report on X calling Secretary of State Antony Blinken. “@ABlinken and @StateINL failed to realize that the applicant NGO was bogus, a front for the Taliban. The D.C. media is largely silent because they are protecting Democrats.”

Although Leading Report suggested that the government “accidentally” distributed the funds to the nonprofits, former US Navy SEAL and podcaster Shawn Ryan stated, “This is not an accident. We break this story 3 different times before anyone picks it up. That's 40-87 million a week. If you're a tax-paying US citizen, you're actively funding terrorism.”

He continued to share clips from his show that had previously covered the ongoing funding of the Taliban since 2021.

“We're paying Taliban families to basically die while they're attacking us,” said former CIA intelligence analyst Sarah Adams, who served as senior adviser to the House Select Committee on Benghazi.

Adding to Ryan's reporting, reporter Lara Logan said, “Not only did the Biden administration hand over an entire country to the terrorists responsible for 9/11, they've been using your tax dollars to keep – them afloat, since they have built the most prolific terror state in history, graduating tens of thousands of terrorist madrassas where they are taught to make bombs, etc.

“This is confirmed by Afghan intelligence sources on the ground and US intelligence agencies. so this Administration knows what it's funding and they're still sending the money. They also know that thanks to the biometric equipment and personnel that the U.S. have knowingly let terrorists be issued passports with altered biometrics to hide their identities. Yet they have done nothing to stop this. And the southern border is effectively wide open,” he continued. “When you can't win an election at the polls, how do you set the conditions for chaos and violence?”

As before reported, Americans have been held hostage by Hamas for more than 300 days since the October 7 terrorist attack on Israel. Amlog Meir Jan filed a lawsuit in the Western District of Washington state in July with his own allegation that taxpayer dollars directly aided Hamas.

One of four hostages rescued by the Israeli Defense Forces, Jan was found with Andrey Kozlov and Shlomi Ziv being held at the home of The Palestine Chronicle contributor Abdallah Aljamal.

According to his lawsuit, “Under the leadership of the defendants [editor-in-chief] Ramzy Baroud and [People Media Project governor] John Harvey, the accused Palestine Chronicle employed Hamas operative Aljamal and offered him his American platform to write and spread Hamas propaganda, ultimately subsidized by his tax-exempt charitable status , by American taxpayers.

The ensuing outrage over the report denounced the hypocrisy of the administration's oversight of citizens compared to themselves, while suggesting that what went unreported was probably far worse.
