RFK Jr. Cries foul and attacks 'DNC-aligned' media

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. he faces an uphill task trying to gain attention as a third-party candidate, in large part because of what he sees as a media controlled by the Democratic Party.

The candidate joined Fox News host Neil Cavuto on Friday's edition of “Your World,” where he discussed the obstacles to getting his message out and how times have changed since the last race independent candidate more than three decades ago with the candidacy of maverick Ross Perot. in 1992 when it received fair press coverage.

“My challenge is to persuade the American people that I can win,” Kennedy said. “If they believe I can win, then I, we believe we will win.”

“I've done a total of four interviews on every other network, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC in 19 months, four interviews,” Kennedy added. “Ross Perot was on TV every night and they tell Americans every day I can't win.”

“We didn't have that kind of alignment with the political parties that we have now,” he said. “And that makes it very difficult…”

A bigger problem for Kennedy is that when he does get mainstream media coverage, it's for something negative that hurts him in the eyes of voters.
