United Airlines Flight 762, traveling from Miami to Newark, was forced to land in Orlando due to a violent outburst by an unidentified passenger. According to an eyewitness, the ordeal began when the passenger was unable to access the plane's bathroom, causing her to become agitated and verbally abusive towards a family member nearby.
After being moved to a different seat, the passenger's aggressive behavior escalated further, with her physically assaulting a flight attendant. Attempts by the crew to de-escalate the situation with zip ties proved ineffective and caused further disruption to the aircraft. Ultimately, the crew's decision to divert to Orlando allowed law enforcement to remove the unruly passenger from the plane for medical evaluation.
