Rapper Sexyy Red arrested after violent fight at airport caught on camera [VIDEOS]

Last Saturday, rapper Sexyy Red, aka Janae Wherry, found herself in legal trouble after a tumultuous fight broke out at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey. The 26-year-old musician, previously linked to Drake, was caught on surveillance footage getting into a heated altercation with airport security and another group, according to reports. TMZ and corroborated by police accounts.

Video footage obtained by the publication shows the chaotic scene as Sexyy Red entered the fray, attempting to wield a metal stand amid a fight involving several men on the airport floor. Although she apparently did not make physical contact, she was later restrained and detained, along with several others, after airport security intervened.

Addressing the incident the following day, Sexyy Red shared a clip saying: “Morning, just out” and offered to replace the phones of those involved in the altercation at the airport encouraging them to contact- directly

According to the Port Authority, Sexyy Red was arrested for disorderly conduct, while others involved in the altercation faced assault charges. The alleged victims reportedly suffered minor injuries, prompting their hospitalization for treatment.
