The British media is abuzz with reports of Queen Elizabeth II’s disdain for Meghan Markle. According to a new report, the Queen referred to Markle as “evil” and regretted that her grandson Prince Harry would ever meet her, describing their relationship as a “complete disaster.”
The source quoted in The Spectator stated that it was out of character for the Queen to use that word to describe someone.
Markle did not attend the coronation of King Charles III, and according to royal biographer Tom Bower, the Queen expressed relief that Markle was not coming to Prince Philip’s funeral.
Royal biographer Tom Bower revealed what the Queen said about her husband Prince Philip’s funeral: “Thank God Meghan won’t be coming.”
The backstory reveals that the Queen considered Markle to be royally evil.
“At pre-dinner drinks, a small group were talking to the monarch and she explained that Harry’s meeting with Meghan had turned into a total disaster and described her as evil,” a source told The Spectator.
“Everybody’s eyebrows are touching the ceiling,” the source said.
“It was out of character for the Queen to use a word like ‘wicked’ to describe Meghan, but she saw right through it,” the report continued. “That was an amazing sentence to hear from the most forgiving woman on Earth.”
Former President Donald Trump also commented on Markle’s behavior towards the Queen, calling it “disrespectful”.
“I think Meghan has been very disrespectful to the Queen,” Trump said. “How can you be so disrespectful to the queen? Her [the Queen] he was amazing, for decades and decades he never made a mistake. I can’t think of one mistake she made, she was never controversial.”
“You can’t be disrespectful to her and I think Meghan was very disrespectful to her, very disrespectful,” Trump said.
Donald Trump also criticized Joe Biden for skipping the coronation ceremony.
He wrote on Truth Social: “Joe Biden should have been at the coronation of King Charles III. Is that really too much to ask? The people of the UK are seriously insulted.
“No wonder we’re losing support around the world. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
The former president added: “Good luck and best wishes to the wonderful new King and Queen of the United Kingdom. You are two very special people.
“May your reign be long and glorious. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH!!!”
Jill Biden, the first lady of the United States, attended the coronation ceremony of King Charles on behalf of her husband Joe Biden, who had declined the invitation.
During the event, the first lady sat at the back of Westminster Abbey with her granddaughter Finnegan Biden, wearing yellow and blue dresses.
Although some pointed out that his placement was far from the center of the proceedings, Jean-Pierre emphasized that Biden and Charles had spoken for about 30 minutes the day before the ceremony.
Biden’s decision sparked controversy among conservative lawmakers, but White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre insisted it was not a snub and that the president had a good relationship with the king.
However, Nile Gardiner, a former foreign policy adviser to the late former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, criticized Biden for missing the coronation ceremony.
“Leaders from around the world are attending the coronation of King Charles III today,” Gardiner said. “Even the French president is there. Noticeably absent is Joe Biden, who couldn’t be bothered. What message does this send to America’s closest ally? Biden is a petty, arrogant, sneering disgrace.”
It turns out there’s more than just bad blood between the British royals and Meghan Markle. The Bidens also seem to have fallen on bad terms with the new king and queen.
