Pres. democratic Candidate takes bold stance on biological males competing as ‘transgender women’ in women’s sports

Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is urging more states to ban biological males who identify as “transgender women” from participating in women’s and girls’ sports.

“I’m against people participating in women’s sports who are biologically male,” the Democratic presidential candidate said. “I think women have worked too hard to develop women’s sport over the last 30 years. I saw it happen, and I don’t think it’s fair.”

To date, twenty-one states have already banned biological males who identify as “transgender women” from participating in girls’ and women’s sports, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wants that number to increase.

The son of the former New York senator recently appeared on CNN and shared his opposition to biological males competing in women’s sports. Last week, the House passed the Protecting Women and Girls in Sports Act, which aimed to prevent biological males from competing as transgender athletes in women’s and girls’ sports in schools across the country.

However, President Biden has stated that he would veto the bill if it reached his desk. Earlier this week, a Democrat blocked the Senate from passing similar legislation. Senator Tommy Tuberville, a former head football coach, called for unanimous consent to pass the bill, noting that he had coached women’s basketball and saw firsthand how Title IX was crucial to providing athletic opportunities to girls and women

On Saturday, Colorado House Democrats voted down a bill that would make it a felony to commit “indecent exposure” of a minor, which includes a ban on child sex.

“27 Democrats in the Colorado House of Representatives just voted against making indecent exposure to minors a Class 6 felony,” Greg Price reported, citing Colorado House Republicans. “One Democrat said the bill ‘targets’ drag shows and the transgender community.”

“These kinds of laws have been used to ban drag shows to target people who use the bathroom for the sex they identify with a public bathroom to charge them with serious crimes,” argued one Democratic lawmaker. “I am very concerned about the attacks against the transgender community that are happening across the country.”

“When I initially read this bill, it didn’t even cross my mind as an advocate, but when I looked at the bills and when I talked to my colleagues who are fighting these types of bills across the country . . , it is very clear to me that the language is very much mirrored in some of the laws that have been used to target members of our community because of who they are,” he continued.

The Colorado General Assembly is attempting to pass HB23-1135, which is titled “Relating to the felony classification of indecent exposure of a minor and, in connection therewith, making an appropriation.”

“Under current law, indecent exposure is a Class 1 misdemeanor; except that it is a Class 6 felony for a third or subsequent offense,” says the summary of the legislation. “The bill makes that indecent exposure is a Class 6 felony if committed in the presence of a person under 18 years of age.”

Democratic presidential candidate RFK Jr. he also stressed that American citizens must once again identify themselves as Americans first, rather than Republicans or Democrats.
