Poll: 2 in 3 voters say country is headed in wrong direction | louder.news

-

A significant majority of voters say the country is headed in the wrong direction, according to a new poll.

Center Square’s Voice of Voters survey, conducted in conjunction with Noble Predictive Insights, found that 66 percent of likely voters say the country is headed in the right direction compared to just 24 percent who say it is correct

These results are similar to The Center Square’s latest poll released in August which showed the same number, 66% of voters polled, said the country is headed in the wrong direction.

This latest poll also found that 43% of likely voters approve of the job President Joe Biden is doing as president while 57% disapprove.
Biden’s approval rating is similar to the last time The Center Square released a poll in August, which found Biden’s approval rating at 40 percent, while 54 percent disapproved.

The survey comes as inflation has soared during Biden’s tenure and prices remain high. The national debt is approaching $34 trillion and more than 10 million illegal immigrants have entered the US since Biden took office.

In foreign policy, both Europe and the Middle East have fallen into wars and China could invade Taiwan any day.

Biden has come under fire for his response to those issues, but he also remains competitive in a hypothetical head-to-head showdown with the Republican front-runner, former President Donald Trump, heading into next year’s presidential election.
