Police surrounded the building used by a would-be killer BEFORE he opened fire, new video shows

Newly released video reportedly shows police surrounding the building used by Thomas Crooks before his assassination attempt.

A caption on the video says it was taken by a man named Dave Stewart of Butler, Pennsylvania. He goes on to say that his cell phone was confiscated by the FBI after the shooting, but he was later released and allowed to release the video.

Matt Wallace posted the nearly two-and-a-half-minute video to Twitter, where police can be seen canvassing the area before shots rang out. The man behind the camera can be heard wondering why the building is of such interest to law enforcement, before correctly assuming that there was “someone” in the building.

One of the main problems was that the SS did not bother to meet with local law enforcement before the rally. So, among other mistakes, they were on different radio channels. SSCS didn't know if the bad guy was LEO, couldn't confirm, so they didn't engage him or get Trump off the stage.

The bigger question at this juncture is why Trump wasn't covered up and removed from that B4 stage where the shooting started. When the police surround a building, we are no longer talking about a suspicious person, we are talking about a threat.
