Podcaster causes quite a stir when he calls Kamala Harris 'the original Hawk Tuah girl'

Commenting on how Vice President Kamala Harris “got into politics,” a podcaster's suggestive take during a Fox Business appearance was deemed “harsh.”

“…she is the original 'Hawk Tuah girl'.”

From California attorney general to the Democratic Party's presumptive 2024 presidential bid, a bumpy ride has brought Harris the closest she's ever been to being the leader of the free world. Concerns expressed about the potential for a coup d'état aside, podcaster Alec Lace's appearance on “The Bottom Line” had a provocative opportunity that referenced a viral video.

“The DEI press secretary tells you that the DEI vice president is the future of the party here. And so the future looks a little bleak for the Democrats here,” he told co-hosts Dagen McDowell and Sean Duffy, referring to widely held views that Harris and White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre maintain their positions by race, gender and in the case of the latter, sexual orientation. “But that's not surprising either.”

Lace didn't stop there as she dug into Harris' relationship with then-California Assembly Speaker Willie Brown, with a comment that prompted him to ask on social media, “Have I gone too far on FOX News by calling to Kamala Harris the OG Hawk Tuah girl or Am I just over the target?”

“Kamala Harris — she's the original 'Hawk Tuah girl.' That's how she got to where she is and the party goes down if it's in her hands,” he said, prompting McDowell to respond, “It was tough. That it was, that was, that was hard.”

Of course, despite the outrage from left-wingers who were offended by the premise that Harris was a diversity hire despite President Joe Biden's own statement that he was specifically looking for a black woman to be his 2020 running mate , social media users were beside themselves in comparison to the young woman who had gone viral for her response during an interview with a man on the street in Nashville, Tennessee.

“You have to give him that hawk tuah, spit that thank you, do you understand me?” she had answered when asked about sexual activity.

As before coveredHarris landed lucrative dates in California while dating Brown, who was married but separated from his wife, before their relationship ended just before he was elected mayor of San Francisco.

Former President Donald Trump took a look at her career during his Independence Day social media post of the truth that read in part: “She did poorly in the Democratic nomination process, starting at No. two and she ended up losing and dropping out, even before she got to Iowa, but that doesn't mean she's not a “very talented” politician! Just ask her mentor, the great Willie Brown of San Francisco.

Not everyone was outraged by the comparison, and Lace wasn't alone, as Blaze TV host Jason Whitlock had referenced the video when discussing Harris. She captioned a picture of the vice president with her husband and children on Wednesday morning: “This is the black man's line in the sand according to Van Jones. We must protect Hawk Tuah at all costs! This looks like the warm-up act for Michelle at the convention.”
