Philly leaders vow to 'fight white institutional racism', demand DEI for all teachers in city safety plan

-

Philadelphia city leaders unveiled a crime-fighting plan Thursday that includes fighting “institutional white racism,” hiring more black teachers and making sure all educators go through DEI training.

The “Blueprint for a Safer Philadelphia” offers “over 100 critical recommendations to improve quality of life and reduce violence,” according to FOX29. The 150+ page report was presented to Mayor-elect Cherelle Parker by Councilman Curtis Jones, Jr.

In a section titled “Combating White Institutional Racism,” the report states, “The school-to-prison pipeline plays a prominent role in our school system.”

“Teachers in low-income districts are not equipped with adequate training in diversity, equity, or inclusion to break down institutional racism,” she explains. “Housing also plays an important role in discrimination, and many do not know that they can file complaints with Housing and Urban Development.”

The report argues that fewer white teachers would reduce the rising crime rate.

“We need to hire more teachers of color to work in schools and administrative positions,” he says. “All education employees should attend anti-racism training, focusing on unconscious bias and racism.”

Looking ahead, schools must hire “culturally competent” social workers. The city needs more police, and “lawmakers and political officials need to partner with schools and nonprofits to address microaggressions and the rise in acts of both hate and violence.”

In other words, the government should enter fascist public-private partnerships and dictate what does and does not constitute “hate and violence” to those who are easily chained.

According to one X user, “Philadelphia's new 'safer' plan looks more like a social experiment than a safety plan.”

“Last time I checked, crime doesn't care about your diversity background,” the user said.

MEE Productions, which was hired “to develop and implement a social marketing campaign to complement the initiative's unique and innovative approach to reducing urban violence,” says the plan “was developed with input from legislators, officials law enforcement, public health officials and community leaders.” “.

“The ten-year violence reduction plan was funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,” according to its web site. “It was a comprehensive approach aimed at ending youth violence in the city.”

It's “crazy,” said one X user.

“Philadelphia had a staggering 400 murders in 2023. The vast majority of them were committed by black people and most of the victims were also black,” the user wrote. “White people committed a disproportionately small crime. Targeting white people to address this is crazy.”

“All white teachers should get out,” said another user. “This is racism.”

“All white people should get out of Philly,” declared another. “Let them fall.”

“When I'm at the ATM in Philly,” said one user, “I'm looking over my shoulder for institutional white racism.”

“My city is in freefall,” lamented one user. “Democrats destroy everything.”
