Pence defends FBI over speculation bureau played key role in Jan. 6 riots

-

Former Vice President Mike Pence cemented his reputation as a RINO on Sunday when he dismissed what more and more Americans are realizing: The FBI played a major role in instigating the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol in 2021.

Pence appeared on CNN's “State of the Union” and told host Jake Tapper everything he could have heard.

“I have watched the FBI director repeatedly assure the American people that the FBI was not the instigator of the riots that occurred on January 6,” Pence said.

He went on to praise the office's efforts to shut down the conservatives who were in the Capitol that fateful day.

“Frankly, I'm very grateful for the FBI's efforts to bring to justice the nearly 1,000 people who looted our Capitol and committed violence against police officers until that day,” Pence said.

“You're right,” he told Tapper. “We've been assured over and over again that it wasn't, and I just have to tell you, having been there that day, seeing people breaking windows, looting the Capitol, it made me angry. I remember thinking, 'No way. Not here. Not in the United States Capitol.'”

It was a dramatic regurgitation of the Democrats' official narrative, but it ignored mounting evidence that the FBI was, in fact, likely behind the “looting.”

How BizPac Review Louisiana Republican Rep. Clay Higgins, a former law enforcement officer and military veteran, recently sat down with Tucker Carlson and claimed there were “more than 200” FBI assets present, he reported. at the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

“I had reviewed compelling evidence that the FBI had assets, human assets dressed as Trump supporters inside the Capitol before the doors were opened and the masses were allowed in,” he told Carlson.

“[S]Some of this evidence shockingly reveals that FBI agents were operating undercover within online groups across the country and were the first to plant the seeds of suggestions of a more radical occupation of the Capitol.” said Higgins. “And they were testing the waters of who in that group would start to recognize that, 'Maybe we should do this. Maybe we should plan an occupation like this.'”

“But if you look at the origins of these conversations,” he asserted, “they were initiated by the FBI, an undercover guy operating within the group.”

AX, many were upset with Pence for giving the FBI a pass.

“Judas…part of the coup,” one user wrote.

Others simply dismissed Pence's firing.

“[Mike Pence] he's a liar,” one user told X. “And [CNN] it's a money-losing network that has a small, thin following of voters with little information.”
