Pelosi Seems To Be Running Out Of Options For Her Frivolous Impeachment Of The President

You CAN’T impeach a private citizen.

These Democrats seem to have lost their collective minds yet again. Dershowitz has said it, other lawyers have said it and I am saying it now: you cannot impeach a private citizen.

So what were deep state actors, Democrats and leftists trying to accomplish here? Either they suspect that President Trump may continue to be President after the 20th, or they are just petty.

As of Monday this whole second impeachment sham has come to a standstill. Pelosi really has no plan and the entire thing is falling apart.

I can’t say I am really surprised by this whole thing either. The old impeachment fell apart, this one fell apart before it even really started.

NATIONAL POLL: Are You Happy Melania Replaced Michelle As First Lady?

The Daily Wire had this to report:

Efforts to convict President Donald Trump for inciting a riot at the United States Capitol appear to have stalled Monday, amid word that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has yet to put together a plan to send an article of impeachment to the Senate for the president’s trial and that senior Senate Dems are not whipping votes on the issue.

Democrats are looking to finish what they began last week when they impeached Trump for allegedly inciting his supporters to riot and launch an attack on the U.S. Capitol with his specious claims of widespread vote fraud in the November presidential election. The Senate must now try Trump on the indictment and vote on whether to convict the current president but with less than two days left in Trump’s term, Democrats seem to see no reason to hurry.

“The Senate could take the next steps—trying Mr. Trump and voting on his guilt—as soon as this week,” the Wall Street Journal reported over the weekend. “Conviction requires a two-thirds vote by senators present; assuming perfect attendance, 17 Republicans would need to join all 50 Democrats to find Mr. Trump guilty.”

Fox News also reported:

Details of the upcoming impeachment trial for President Trump are still up in the air as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer — who will soon swap jobs — have remained silent about the details of how the trial will work, how long it will last and more.

When the trial will start is up in the air as well. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., after overseeing the impeachment of Trump just one week after he riled up a group of supporters who later ransacked the Capitol while Congress was certifying the election results, has yet to send the article of impeachment to the Senate.

Pelosi did not answer questions during a Friday press conference on when she would send over the article. Her office also did not immediately respond to a message from Fox News on Monday morning asking when she would send the article.
