Former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan got a brutal reality check on social media after he resurfaced in an interview to attack former President Donald Trump while praising the RINOs who opposed him.
The clueless former congressman, who now sits on the board of Fox News parent Fox Corp., effectively accused Trump of being a “populist, authoritarian narcissist” during a virtual interview with advisory firm Teneo. His condescending assessment of the former president, who leads the 2024 GOP field by double digits, was bolstered when he spoke highly of former Reps. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.)
“Look, Trump is not a conservative. He's an authoritarian narcissist. So I think they basically called him out on that,” Ryan, who was a spokesman during Trump's tenure in the White House, said of Cheney and Kinzinger.
“He's a populist, authoritarian narcissist. So, historically speaking, all of his tendencies are basically where narcissism takes him, whatever makes him popular, makes him feel good at any time,” he continued with his insults in conversation with Teneo Political Risk Advisory Co-President Kevin Kajiwara.

“He doesn't think in classic liberal-conservative terms. He thinks in an authoritarian way. And he's been able to get a large part of the Republican base to follow him because he's the culture warrior,” said Ryan, who is leaving Congress in 2029.
“And so I think Adam and Liz went out of their way and called it out and, you know, paid for it. They paid for it with their careers,” he said of the former Republican lawmakers.
“But I think, again, going back to my earlier point, I don't think you're very good at these jobs unless you're willing to lose those jobs. And there has to be a line, a principle that's so important to you who just don't believe so that when you brush your teeth in the morning, you look in the mirror. You like what you see,” he continued.
“I think Adam and Liz are brushing their teeth, they like what they see. And I think a lot of people in Congress are good friends of mine who would vote me back if they could, because I think a lot of these members of Congress , in the second impeachment, they thought Trump was dead. They thought after January 6th he wasn't coming back. He was dead, so they thought, 'I'm not going to take this heat, I'm going to vote against this impeachment, because of all ways is gone,” Ryan told Kajiwara.
“But what's happened is that he's been resurrected. There's a lot of reasons for that. But he's been. So I think there's a lot of people who are already regretting that they didn't get him out of the way when they could have.” , he added. “So I think history will be kind to those people who saw what was happening and called it out, even though it was at the expense of their personal well-being.”
Ryan's continued anti-Trump views have earned him the ire of the former president's supporters and others who find his pompous speaking tiresome.

RINO Democrat Paul Ryan was yesterday. It's irrelevant like Liz Cheney and Adam CryBaby Kinzinger.

No one, and I mean no one, wondered if I would go

Paul Ryan failed as president, was humiliated by President Obama, and is wrong about the direction of the Republican Party. Why should anyone listen to him?

Why is Paul Ryan giving Republican voters the middle finger?

“His careers.”
That's the thing about politics: people like Paul Ryan consider it a “career.”

Ryan was rolled up by RINOS and the left. He is jealous of DJT for how he stood up and fought for American citizens, and always put America first. He is mostly jealous of how Trump is loved and appreciated by his supporters. When Ryan quit, no one cared.
