Obviously buying what she was selling, Rosie O'Donnell lamented that not even professional help could combat succumbing to fear-mongering about what may come of our “democracy” by Thanksgiving.
“Amazing the things you can make people believe.”
If former President Barack Obama and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) were among those calling for President Joe Biden to end his campaign, they wouldn't have fully demonstrated that the left was in freefall to get the his emergency channel, the Parade of Apocalyptic Collapses probably did the trick.
What was once a nearly 20-year-old feud fueled by then-businessman Donald Trump, who gave Miss USA Tara Conner a second chance in 2006, had evolved beyond Trump derangement syndrome for O'Donnell as he took to TikTok with a “Saturday Ramble.” “Everything except decked out with a cardboard sign that says 'The End is Near.'
“It's all very, very unsettling. It's very unsettling. In 100 days, you know, people tell me — my therapist said, 'Well, it's a long time between now and November,'” she said in mid on the way to his video. “No, it's not. We're about to start school. You know how quickly, it's Halloween and then it's Thanksgiving.”
“So by Thanksgiving break we'll know if we still have democracy in America. That's not a long time ago. That's a long time to worry every day, I can tell you that,” O'Donnell continued in the monologue that left Fox News chief political analyst Brit Hume reacting: “Amazing the things you can make people believe.”

After wondering if Democrats were stuck waiting until Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addresses Congress on Wednesday before filling in which empty suit with a “D” next to his name they'll be voting for in November , the bile twice. -Spewer on ABC's “The View” actually encouraged her more than 2.4 million followers to tune out corporate media.
“Don't just watch the TV news. Don't, because it's… listen, you can worry, worry, worry, and time will still pass and what's going to happen will happen. So, you know, the wisdom to know the difference, the things I can control, right? Things you can't, wisdom to know the difference,” came a scrambled attempt at wisdom from the comedian who turned his head as he spoke.
As it happened, O'Donnell's advice sounded like she was pulling her talking points straight from the Biden campaign, as a day earlier the incumbent's campaign chair, Jen O'Malley Dillon, was reported to have told staff who work for her and the Democratic National Committee, “Don't watch cable news all the time. That's not the real world. The real world is the voters who are with us, the delegates who are with us, and we will overcome it thanks to this organization.”
Making sure he's earned ridicule on social media, O'Donnell signed off his rambling with heightened rhetoric that will surely perpetuate his self-inflicted melancholy: “They're not kidding. Right to an authoritarian dictatorship. America, no I had no idea what's coming if he wins and boy, it's not good.”
Brit, that is *exactly* what I write. This is what happens to people when they are constantly lit by fear and apocalyptic rhetoric. I think she really believes it. The first victims of the American left and now of the Democratic Party are the liberals themselves.
