Open borders force taxpayers to open their wallets

President Joe Biden has turned America's southern border into a humanitarian catastrophe and national security nightmare. This bloody and deadly mess is a clear and present danger to this republic.

But this is also massive fiscal threat Biden's elimination of the border is evaporating federal, state and local coffers.

Precise figures on anything illegal are, by definition, elusive. However, the report of the Federation for American Immigration Reform, The Tax Burden of Illegal Immigration on US Taxpayers 2023, estimates that taxpayers bleed $182.1 billion in annual benefits to illegal aliens. This includes $66.4 billion in federal spending and another $115.7 billion in state and local spending to those who have entered America.

“No sweat!” illegal alien apologists argue. “They work hard, pay taxes and do their own thing.”

If only

“Taxes paid by illegal aliens cover only about 17.2 percent of the costs they generate for American citizens,” FAIR estimates. This includes $16.2 billion in federal taxes and $15.2 billion in state and local taxes. That $31.4 billion still keeps US citizens at 82.8% of illegals' $150.7 billion a year.

Extrapolating that number suggests that since Biden took control three years ago this January 20th, these foreign invaders have siphoned some $452 billion from the U.S. Treasury, America's statehouses and city halls .

Specifically:

federal

• Social welfare: $11.6 billion
• Medicine: $23.1 billion
• Law enforcement/justice: $25.1 billion
• Education: $6.6 billion

State and local

• Social welfare: $2 billion
• Medicine: $18.6 billion
• Law enforcement/justice: $21.8 billion
• Education: $73.3 billion

Every penny of this generosity is avoidable. Sealing the southern border and requiring immigrants to present visas would stop this relentless onslaught. “The impact of these policies is causing social upheavalpitting states against other states, large cities against surrounding communities, overwhelming school districts and social service providers, as economic migrants from around the world cross our borders,” said FAIR President Dan Stein.

This foreign threat affects US cities and states:

• Because of the 37,000 illegal that have flooded Denver since December, Democratic Mayor Mike Johnston said Wednesday that his city is facing “a fiscal crisis unlike anything we've seen in the last 25 years.” Expect illegals to cost Denver 180 million dollars this year. The Denver Health hospital is in critical condition because 8,000 illegals have not paid anything for their 20,000 visits.

• Governor Greg Abbott (R – Texas) told Fox Business Network host Suart Varney on January 4: “Since Joe Biden took office, Texas taxpayers have borne the costs of about $10 billion dollars for Texas to do the work of the federal government to try to secure the border.”

• Some 160,000 illegals have flooded New York City from spring 2022. So Democratic Mayor Eric Adams announced plans to cut spending by 5% over three years each. This 15% reduction in police, fire, sanitation, education and everything else was total 12.25 billion dollars, to keep the outlaws clothed, fed, housed and educated. Adams therefore canceled five rookie classes at the Police Academy.

Unexpectedly higher revenue allowed Adams to reduce those cuts 10.6 billion dollars. Regardless, New Yorkers anticipate deadlier streets, brighter hells, dirtier sidewalks, and dimmer students.

Adams detonated a bomb in a rage on January 9 when he boarded a bus 1,900 illegal “guests”. from a rain-soaked tent city to Brooklyn's James Madison High School and whisked her kids off to Zoom classes. This betrayal enraged Madison's Democratic, Hispanic and black parents

Biden's border-killing policies have attracted attention 8.47 million illegal aliens at the hands of sadistic cartels and rape-happy human smugglers. He gives the green light to foreign criminals, spies and terrorists. In Biden's view, 312 of the latter have been captured at the border, compared to 11 under Trump, 2,736% more. How many have sneaked in? Who knows?

Meanwhile, Joe Biden offers American taxpayers two words: Drop dead.
