Mark Cuban was “BUSTED” by guerrilla journalism after an attempt to discredit James O'Keefe resulted in a heated exchange with a hidden camera.
Since being kicked out of Project Veritas, the muckraker who built a reputation working to expose ACORN and Planned Parenthood had continued his efforts by founding the O'Keefe Media Group (OMG). Cuban's distaste for the reporter's methods and the claim about the “edited video” sent the news hound to the source.
On Saturday, the former majority owner of the Dallas Mavericks revealed that O'Keefe had found him at the gym, linking to a thread about the report about IBM CEO Arvind Krishna apparently admitting that he coerced employees to be discriminated against during the recruitment process.
“So I looked him in the eye and called him Motherf*cking P*ssy,” Cuban wrote, sharing footage of the interaction.

On Monday, O'Keefe retconned the story by sharing a five-and-a-half-minute video with the caption: “BUSTED: James O'Keefe works with @mcuban and asks, 'Are you going to hire @WuWei113?'” Cuban tells O'Keefe: ” You lied your ** about Pfizer' and 'Only a moron thinks DEI has anything to do with quotas,'” Cuban frantically asks, “Where's your camera?” Cuban's trainer grabs a nearby guest's shirt, grabs his iPhone, and deletes the footage. But hidden cameras captured the entire heated exchange.”

“Hey, I have to ask, why did you say I edited the video?” the reporter asked as Cuban responded, trying to laugh it off before stating, “But you still lied your ** about Pfizer . . .”
After the “Shark Tank” star laid out her case about the Project Veritas founder's exposure to Pfizer, O'Keefe shared clips summarizing what the officer had. said in the covert sting.
After that, Cuban was questioned about his stance on DEI, a position that has led him to be involved in the hiring of a tiny Asian woman to play for the Mavericks, criticizing, “Just the idiot idiot think that DEI has to do with quotas”.
Beyond that, the billionaire challenged: “Where's your camera?” as O'Keefe didn't give a clear answer about whether the conversation was being filmed and a coach stepped in to defend Cuban.
Later in the video, that man, identified as Brendan, was said to have posted on Instagram how people who worked with O'Keefe had been “assaulted” and forced to delete videos of interactions with Cuban at the gym.
According to the businessman's story, “he didn't delete it. He asked for forgiveness and gave it to me. And you wouldn't say you're filming it James. You just mumbled,” a point O'Keefe definitively refuted by stating, “Also, watch every video I've ever made. I never grumbled.”

Not long after O'Keefe published his account of the interaction, the world's richest man, Elon Musk, who recently had his own social media spat with Cuban over DEI calling him “a liar,” reacted to the video by commenting, “Mark Cuban is such a tool!”
“He never gave me an example of how our videos are 'edited' to 'misrepresent an event,'” the OMG founder added.
