Officials release tattoos to watch out for migrants as notoriously vicious Venezuelan gang approaches US city

With operations across the country, an infamous Venezuelan gang dubbed the “epitome of evil” moved to the outskirts of one of America's safest cities.

Already suffering a death by a thousand cuts, the erosion of American national sovereignty under the administration of President Joe Biden and the administration of Vice President Kamala Harris seemed to invite a new threat to national security. According to officials in El Paso, Texas, who spoke to the Daily Mail, Tren de Aragua was no longer operating out of the Tocorón prison in Venezuela, but had established headquarters in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.

“El Paso officials, who asked to remain anonymous, now fear gang violence is spilling over into Texas' sixth-largest city, which is currently ranked among the top ten safest in America for the FBI”, the Mail. reported.

The gang is said to be led by Héctor Guerrero Flores, better known as “Niño Guerrero”. FBI offers $5 million reward for gang leader for listed violations that include conspiracy to engage in transnational organized crime, including money laundering, narcotics trafficking, human trafficking and trafficking of people”.

Speaking to the Mail, Texas Rep. Tony Gonzales (R), whose district stretches from El Paso to San Antonio, said, “Tren de Aragua is the epitome of evil.”

“This gang is known to rape children, lead murders and cause widespread mayhem,” he added.

A previous one report indicated that the Venezuelan national alleged to have killed 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley was believed to have ties to TdA and that the gang was suspected of aligning with Mexico's Mara Salvatrucha, better known as MS -13, as criminals with links. the organization was believed to be responsible for the increase in crime in New York City.

In late July, NewsNation correspondent Ali Bradley detailed that Homeland Security Investigations “reported that members of the Tren De Aragua (TdA) criminal organization in Denver had been given the 'green light' to shoot or attack forces of the order in Denver, Colorado.” and that at least 1,000 members of the band of more than 5,000 were suspected of being in the United States.

“We're tracking them in Ciudad Juárez, that's specifically where they have their main point of operations,” Mexican State Secretary for Public Security Gilberto Loya told the Mail. “They're not an easy gang to track, because they don't act like a traditional gang.”

Law enforcement has been on the lookout for countless tattoos associated with the gang, but additional problems arose with handling identified members even before chaos erupted in Venezuela following its recent elections that they included that the country would not accept deported US citizens.

The increased threat also comes as the Biden administration abruptly halted the Department of Homeland Security's mass parole program amid rampant fraud. A spokesman said: “Out of an abundance of caution, DHS has temporarily halted the issuance of advanced travel authorizations for new beneficiaries while it conducts a review of applications for support.”

The program facilitated inbound flights for hundreds of thousands of foreign nationals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela.

“They can do us a lot of harm: they can make us disappear and many other things they can do to us,” said a Venezuelan national. he said Dispatch 505 of the threat posed to foreigners trying to reach the United States.

Mexican state prosecutor Carlos Manuel Salas said: “According to the security reports we have, this group of Venezuelans, Tren de Aragua, controls which migrants can take the train.”

Gonzales explained that in an effort to combat the threat, “I am working with Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar to create the first intelligence unit located inside a prison in Texas. This initiative will contribute to go a long way in helping law enforcement at all levels combat gang activity.”

“The unit would be located at the Bexar County Jail, which is the largest jail near the Texas-Mexico border,” he continued. “Now is the time for action. Designating Tren de Aragua as a transnational criminal organization was the first step.”

“The second step is to strengthen our intelligence capabilities to ensure that our police personnel have the necessary tools to track down these criminals,” the MP added.
