After initially dodging the question, Nikki Haley confirmed that she believes Donald Trump and Joe Biden are “equally bad” candidates ahead of their impending loss in New Hampshire.
“We've heard you over and over in the last few weeks on the campaign trail, lumping together Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Do you think they're equally bad for America? CNN's Dana Bash asked Haley.
Haley dodged the question at first, talking about how Trump and Biden were “too focused on the investigations” and said they weren't talking about issues. “You have a country in disarray, you have a world on fire, and you're going to focus on people who hurt your feelings? Are you going to focus on investigations related to your families? Are you going to focus on revenge?” Haley said of Trump and Biden.
After being pressed further, she finally admitted that she believes Trump and Biden are equally evil. “I mean, if they were, if either of them were good, I wouldn't be running. Yeah, they're equally bad, that's why I'm running is because I don't think we need to have Biden or Trump. I don't think we need to have two people from 80 years sitting in the White House when, basically, we have to make sure we can deal with the war situation we're in.”
