Nikki Haley entered a new phase in her opposition to Donald Trump during her “Meet The Press” interview on Sunday.
Haley sided with the unidentified jurors responsible for awarding E. Jean Carroll a whopping $83 million in damages after an earlier jury found that Trump “abused” Carroll despite compelling evidence that the incident never took place.
In response to NBC's Kristen Welker asking if she had confidence in the jury in the case, Haley said yes. This marked a decisive turning point, with Haley stating “I think they made their decision based on the evidence,” emphasizing her position unequivocally.
