Everything happens at lightning speed in Funny Car racing, and when things go wrong, they go really wrong. Force's condition was not immediately known after the crash, as he was rushed to the hospital for further evaluation. Fortunately, he was awake and alert after the terrible ordeal.

It was a frightening scene for spectators and fans across the country. No one wants to see any driver, regardless of their condition, suffer such a terrifying accident. But seeing racing legend John Force suffer such a disaster was especially hard to bear.

Force remains a fierce competitor on the circuit this season and has won his fair share of finals. At his age and with his decades-long resume of success, he is a true icon and legend of NHRA racing. Moreover, his children have also done great things in this sport.

We hope that John Force makes a speedy and full recovery from his injuries, and that he can continue to inspire generations of racing fans and drivers for years to come.
