The Babylon Bee recently scored with a sarcastic article highlighting the excessive clean-up efforts in San Francisco. It’s commendable that they want to tidy up, but the underlying reason is what makes people angry. Instead of cleaning up for local residents, who bear high taxes, Newsom had the city fixed up for the arrival of his communist friend, Xi, from China. The Babylon Bee stung Newsom with its hilarious but fairly accurate cover and headline. He mockingly informed the homeless that they could resume pooping in the streets once their “boss” left town.
Ouch.

All kidding aside, people were really outraged by this, and rightfully so.
San Francisco has cleared several known homeless encampments ahead of Chinese dictator Xi Jinping’s visit on Wednesday, an effort Gov. Gavin Newsom admitted was just to make a good impression on other visiting leaders.
In just a few days, the city cleaned up seven intersections in the notorious Tenderloin and South of Market neighborhoods, a decision Newsom defended last week ahead of a planned Asia summit.
The cleanup left several points of exploitation virtually unrecognizable, leading many to question why similar efforts had not been enacted earlier.
What an insult to reside in a city that used to be beautiful but has now become hell due to failed liberal policies. Residents are forced to navigate streets littered with needles and human waste, and the only time they clean up is to impress a communist leader.
San Francisco’s homeless population was completely eradicated by Xi Jinping.

In the end, these are the policies that San Francisco voters chose, and as the saying goes, you get what you vote for.
