Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley, in a recent appearance on “Jesse Watters Primetime,” dropped a bombshell about former President Trump's July assassination attempt.
According to Hawley, whistleblowers have shared information about the top Secret Service agent at the Butler, Pennsylvania compound where the assassination attempt took place.

The revelation paints a troubling picture of the Secret Service's handling of the event. Hawley didn't hold back, describing the primary site agent as inexperienced, inept and, in his words, downright incompetent.

“The agent at the site, the lead agent, was known by the Trump campaign to be inexperienced, ineffective and, frankly, incompetent at her job. The whistleblowers have also told me that on that day she was not enforcing the normal security protocols. He wasn't checking people's IDs. Most of the agents there that day were not Secret Service agents.” Josh Hawley
Hawley emphasized the urgency of the situation, explaining, “Whistleblowers are coming forward from the Secret Service because they can't believe what the leadership is doing. They can't believe the Secret Service isn't taking steps to root out the rot.”
After his appearance, Hawley sent a stern letter to acting Secret Service Director Ronald L. Rowe.
In the letter, Hawley demanded accountability and transparency regarding the actions of the top agent at the site and the agency's overall response to the assassination attempt.

Hawley called for the immediate suspension of the site's lead agent pending a thorough investigation.
