A new poll revealed voters' biggest concern with Vice President Kamala Harris, as former President Donald Trump maintained his lead.
Media bias, campaign gimmicks and Trump derangement syndrome proved ineffective in overcoming the GOP leader's lead according to a new sample of likely voters. Polled between August 7 and 11, the JL Partners poll for the Daily Mail put the president ahead of the “liberal” vice president by 2%, within a margin of error of 3.1% .
“Don't misunderstand us. Harris has made big inroads, particularly with young and black voters, and has started to close the gap with independents,” JLP co-founder James Johnson said, as Harris had risen from 37% to 41% since end of July
“But Trump has an advantage with his base, which remains more energized, and has held his ground with whites, Hispanics and voters over 50,” he added, as the Republican nominee's numbers held constant at 43% since March.

After polling 1,001 likely voters, the poll found 5% support for independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and 2% for alternative third-party options.
“Harris' biggest support remains relatively limited to 18-49 year olds. Much of that is due to Trump's dominance on the economy and border issues,” Johnson said. “But at this point we're looking at a tighter race, rather than turning into a Harris shoo-in.”
“Now all eyes should be on the independents. If Harris can make more headway with them, then we could see Trump's lead disappear,” the poll added, as the poll also found voters' biggest block to the presumptive Democratic nominee was that she he was “liberal,” a point Trump made during his performance. conversation with Elon Musk.
“She's a liberal from San Francisco who destroyed San Francisco, and then as attorney general, she destroyed California,” the president told the tech mogul who has been moving his companies to Texas, including San-based X Francis.
Additional hesitations that stood out from the JLP word cloud included “woman”, “extreme”, “inexperienced”, “incompetent” and “liar”.
Honorable mentions like “communist” and “fake” also jumped out.
More metrics showed Trump beating Harris in categories of perceived strength and charisma, while the Democrat had a lead in the “care,” “friendly” and “moral” columns.
The reality remains that the concerted efforts of the corporate media, Big Tech and influential high-powered donors have still barely moved the needle for the VP as the nominating convention begins in less than a week.
“…Harris has pulled off the fastest shift in mood in modern political history,” Time reporter Charlotte Alter wrote as the magazine published a glowing piece designed to sell this narrative rebranding around the candidate who once he had been viewed so unfavorably that he dropped out. the 2020 presidential race before a single vote had been cast.

That story also preceded a report this showed how the Harris-Walz campaign has been “editing headlines and news descriptions” in paid promotions on Google to give the impression that the corporate media has even more support for their ticket than has already been demonstrated.
Meanwhile, her supposed growing popularity belied the reality that the presumptive candidate was doing everything possible to avoid unscripted appearances in front of the American people, going so far as to hastily leave Washington, DC without the press group that was supposed to travel with her.
