Many needy New Yorkers went without Thanksgiving dinner this year, after hundreds of illegal immigrants in a Queens neighborhood attacked New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) residents in the head of the local food bank line.

“They were first in line for the turkeys this morning,” Queensbridge Houses resident Georgia Butler said. WNYW-TV. “They tell you to be there at 11 o’clock. You get there at 10:30, 10:45, but they’re already out there. The line is from there, it’s from here.”

Queensbridge Houses callers have seen 8,000 migrants descend on their neighborhood, the outlet reports, and already depleted resources — including those donated to weekly mobile food pantries — have become so strained that caused fights between tenants and migrants over food. .

“A month ago, an altercation got so intense between a resident and a migrant, someone ended up in the hospital,” according to Fox 5.

“Why do we have to take everything’s ass?” Butler asked. “This community is already suffering.”

The problem is not limited to Queens.

reports Breitbart:

New York City is just one part of the Empire State that finds its resources stretched to breaking point.

A chart produced by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) estimates there are more than a million illegals in the state, costing taxpayers $6,846 per illegal. The group also said illegals cost the state $4.65 billion in education and $1.75 billion in additional police and corrections budgets, not to mention more spending on health care and public assistance.

“That’s a burden of $1,321 per New York household,” according to FAIR.

That’s when New York City Mayor Eric Adams slashes the Big Apple’s budget.

How BizPac Review Adams recently announced major budget cuts, including to the police department.

According to the New York Post, the 5% budget cuts “will bring departments to their knees in the Big Apple.”

The cuts mark “the first of three rounds Adams has ordered to make up for the billions of dollars the city has spent serving the asylum seekers who have flooded New York,” the outlet said.

The Daily Mail explained:

Budget cuts will cause NYPD officers to be cut by a fifth, or 13.5 percent, by postponing the next five academy classes, bringing the number of officers below 30,000 , below 36,000.

Education would also have a $1 billion impact over two years and delay the rollout of composting in the Bronx and Staten Island, leading to reduced trash collection and cuts to the city’s pre-K programs .

The New York Public Library, the Brooklyn Public Library, and the Queens Public Library would also have to eliminate Sunday service due to budget cuts.

“Crime is going to go through the roof because there’s a cut in the police security budget and also there’s a cut in the sanitation budget, so that means we’re going to be drowning in rats,” said rapper Cardi B.

Adams warned of rising “migrant costs”.

“To balance the budget as required by law, each city agency dug into its own budget to find savings, with minimal disruption to services,” he said in a statement. “And while we got it this time, make no mistake: Migrant costs are rising, tax revenue growth is slowing and COVID stimulus funding is drying up.”
