Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) took to social media to dispute Rep. Jamaal Bowman’s (D-NY) explanation for this weekend. fire alarm incident in the Cannon Building. In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Greene gave a brief tour of the building’s exits, demonstrating how easy it is to evacuate the premises without resorting to setting off a fire alarm.
The video begins with Greene standing by the now-infamous door, explaining that while certain exits remain closed over the weekend, all members and staff of Congress know which doors are accessible.
With a touch of sarcasm, he pointed to a fire alarm near the door, implying that someone with Bowman’s background, a former middle school principal, should know better.
“There are serious issues for Jamaal Bowman and he needs to be prosecuted for violating the same federal law that the January 6th defendants and President Trump are being prosecuted for,” Greene said.
Greene explained that Bowman’s decision to sound the alarm was not a simple mistake in his rush to vote, but a deliberate act. At the end of the video, Deputy Greene made it clear that she believes Bowman should face consequences for his actions.

YES LADY!!! Keep the pressure on. He must be arrested. His phone and communications should be subpoenaed as it is clear that this was a coordinated effort to stop or slow down the proceedings.

It’s a lie, no need to explain too much. He lied. Plain and simple.
